genuine question.

so question of the day, whhy do the same person make multiple accounts, not even being themselves but acting like a completely different people? 
 

One of my friends think one reason is that its because if someone is always a moving couple with another, that its either hard to break that off or hard to draw the line and state when and where they want to be like that with said someone as a couple and when they dont- so they create a new acc and act like someone else so they dont get caught fulfilling what they really want. 

Cant lie, it made a lot of sense to me- 

And then they said that it could be to be sneaky and snoop around certain people or be in others business but dont want to get caught doing that on their main so they do it pretending to be someone else- and tbh that becomes noticeable too

So i believe that too tbh it makes way too much sense to me. & whyyy it makes a lot of sense is bc, one of my friends and i recently caught someone, who we're convinced just went through his old stuff and just completely started mocking him, you'd think they were purposely trying to get his attention tbh because it was certain things they said that only he did- if you know what i mean. And then suddenly this person starts doing the same- when mind you.. they didnt always do that either bc we recalled them being somewhere else we were and compared to how they talked there to what they're doing now, its like you can tell they flipped script and started mocking him.
I mean, he has this special way of talking he always didd so ig i could see why its easy for people to wanna copy off that bc its something different, so we'd usually joke about it.  but its like ofcourse its this random acc doing it so who it really is, is hidden behind it and when- which they did- do get caught then you cant be like ??Isitthatserious-.. but its not like he'd care about the blatantness bc i mean it could be looked at as him rubbing off on them.. even if he doesnt know them like that ig, which i know i rub off on ppl too.. it isnt so bad we actually find it cute we influence ppl, but its like they stalked then did it so thats not the case bc it was old stuff he hardly does anymore but he was still the only person to do it, so its obvious what that persons did or was doing so its just.. embarrassing. but its interesting because, it doesnt make sense this random acc/person would find him.. go through his old stuff thats ig still floating around.. and do that, so its definitely someone we know but they dont want us to know we know its them. but of course we both know no one we have in mind would own up to it and if this "random" person was called out for stalking him then they would definitely play their role of this different person.. not knowing whatever we're talking about, this and that.. so it wasnt worth the effort so now we see it as a big joke. 
 

But it makes me want to distance myself from people because whats the point of being so weird.. no i wont use weird, annoying fits better, for no reason.

but yeahhh back to the question at hand, what do you guys think, at the end of the day it is someones own business if they want to make different accs pretending to be other people, but im just curious why though.... esp if you knoow them or rather who they are-  

but i can only imagine who all do have alt accs & who those accs are- but thats a tunnel ill avoid getting into for now tbh.
