vaccine or not?

I mean it's not the site to be asking such questions but I think it's a topic that should concern most of us. I don't know which will have worse concequences for me because on one side the coronavirus can cause serious complications but on the other a vaccine that was produced so soon and also has a great number of low risk people getting harmed right after they did it..and I don't know if it's worth it, if covid is really as serious as they say in tv. I've heard of close people to me one old man needed to be hospitalized but was released soon, one on his 20s had a bit of fever (he smoked) and his mother too for a week and the rest didn't have any symptoms at all. I've heard that covid killed many people but they were immunocompromised from the beginning so wouldn't the flue also cause serious symptoms to them?

get the vaccine. it had 40,000 volunteers to test it before it was even released which was way more than the volunteers for the flu shot. it went through the exact same testing that literally every other vaccine has to go through. it took less time because it's the same template as the flu shot with a few things changed. like the inactive virus is changed to account for covid instead of the flu.

and most of those people that experienced bad symptoms only experienced them for a week max. ofc don't compare yourself to others experiences. your body will react differently than someone else's to it. but based off of what I've seen, nothing serious happens with the vaccine and the worst is general sickness and body pains. similar to what people feel with the flu.

Get the vaccine. More people died from getting covid than they got got complications from receiving the vaccine.

I used to work in a hospital and the amount of calls we received stating that our patient passed due to covid was horrifying.

I was one of the first people to get vaccinated and I had no symptoms. But I also never get symptoms other than arm pain from vaccines in general.

I had covid and I got vaccinated. My mom died from covid. Even if I were to get any of the symptoms again from the vaccine, I'd 100% get it again. It's to keep you and others safe. Everyone reacts differently. Symptoms usually set in about 10-18 hours depending on which one you get. Make sure to eat and drink lots of water before you get it, if you do and just be prepared.

I got the vaccine as well. I wanted to get it since I work really close with children. And it just made me feel saver. Now the first time I got astra and I was really sick for a weak. My whole body was aching, I had a high fewer, headaches and threw up. But even after it I didn’t regret it.
The second time I got Biontec and while I was still at the vaccination center I broke down and needed medical attention. I felt really bad for weeks after it. And well… I don’t regret it exactly but if anyone would tell me I need to go get vaccinated for a third time, I would say no thanks.

I got vaccinated from the first batch, last year, when they only vaccinated medical staff. My arm hurt 3 days but that was all. My family got vaccinated this year and only had the same issues as me. They all were infected with covid before, including me. The risks are really low especially if you're young so personally i think people should vaccinate. It also helps you and saves you money when you need to travel or go to events such as weddings. They require a test over a certain amount of people or the vaccine to attend a wedding.
I got infected last year together with my colleagues at work. I'm only in my early 20's and they were all above 40 yo yet i was the only with symptoms such as fever, coughing, dizziness and really too tired to get out of bed for over a week. I have no health issues. The old patients where i worked got infected too. The two women who were over 90yo had no symptoms and were fine while a 60yo patient passed away 3 days after showing high fever and struggling to breathe. They all had similar health issues.
So i think the virus can attack no matter your age or health and you should protect yourself as best as you can. ^^
