Physical Therapy is Kicking My A$$

So, I injured my right arm and have to go through 8 weeks (24 appointments) of PT. I have what they call frozen shoulder. But even with the PT, the therapist says it'll be 6 months to 1 year before I recover and have 100% usage of my right shoulder. Right now I have 30% usage of my shoulder. He wants me at 60-70% by the time the 8 weeks are up.

I've had two appointments so far and my arm is sore AF. Like it hurts like hell. PT is so kicking my right now. I know I just need to fight through the soreness and in time it'll get easier, but god does it hurt right now. Me complaining about this says a lot, since I have a REALLY high pain tolerance. I'm just hoping this works because if not, the next step is either Cortisone shots right into my shoulder joint or putting me under anesthesia, so the doctor can stretch the muscle in my shoulder for me. Neither of which I want, especially since there is a risk the Cortisone will make my sugar spike, and I'm diabetic.

Anyway, I am getting back to RPing. It's slow-going because I'm in a lot of pain and not sleeping for , so I'm too tired to focus half the time. So, please be patient with me, guys.

I totally get you with the soreness after a pt appointment. I had a misdiagnosed fracture in my ankle and the pt was excruciating at times. I wish you so much luck. But yes, what the below commenter says. Icing it honestly a life saver. I used to ice at work as well.

I hope the pt helps...
I know what hell you must be going through, my dad had/have frozen shoulders, and yeah it's a lot of pain, he even got morphine to lessen the pain, but it didn't always help...
what I can advise you (what worked for my dad) are icepacks...
but never directly on your shoulder, wrap it first in a towel, it eased the soreness after pt...

hope you get better soon
