you and jongin were close friends back in childhood or high school. however, both of you had different ideas about where you were going after high school. you attempted to try and keep in contact with jongin afterwards, but he never responded to your texts. now that you're back in dandelion, you want to connect with him, but he still won't respond…

you remember taeyeon as the girl who strived for only the top, only the best, she was immaculate in everything. so much to the point that when the two of you were in the drama club together and you were the lead role of the play. you have only heard about her on the tv after that, feeling a sense of pride when you saw her succeed. but then, you never heard from her... until you saw her in hyangnamu once more and you don't expect her to recognize you but she does. she does completely.

you know a guy online named kai, you two play the same game together and you play a lot together. recently, the two of you have started to really get close. kai doesn't share much about his personal life but he opened up to you in his struggles recently through a voice call. you meet jongin, somehow someway, and you can't help but recognize the voice and in a moment of confusion, you blurt out his username, and he is shocked.

you knew taeyeon had family in hyangnamu but you didn't expect to see her back here after her fall from grace in the industry. you are excited and ask if she can sing with you for some event or charity. taeyeon declines, not wanting to attract attention to herself, though the real reason is because she is scared to sing again... somehow, you manage to get her to sing with you.

jongin has been seeing a dog that looks stray outside of his family's restaurant over the last few days, trying to find and eat scraps. jongin takes the dog in and takes care of it, careful to not let the dog interact with his own dogs until he knows more about the pup. days had turn to weeks and jongin has gotten attached to the dog, but hasn't heard of anyone who had lost a dog. that is, until you enter the restaurant one day.

you and taeyeon live close by and you have made an effort to try and get to know her. despite her being apprehensive at first, the two of you became acquaintances. taeyeon told you that she doesn't really go out much aside from her family's restaurant and her house, so you offer to show her around hyangnamu.
