na garam was the daughter of a fisherman from a small village. when she was around 10 years old, her older sister and aunt died in a tragic fire where only garam and her father lived. they were forced to flee the small village and start anew closer to the capital. they struggled for many years, eventually leading to garam getting a job as an apothecary at a young age. however, one night, she had a vivid dream of one of her regular customers getting cheated on and getting a messy divorce. not thinking much of it, she went on with her life until a month later when the customer again and told garam about her husband cheating on her... the entire situation going the way garam dreamed. what happened? garam tried not to think too much of it, but the dreams kept happening and garam found herself predicting the lives of those around her...

after the death of her father, his pay the only reason the two of them were able to keep their head above water, garam knew she had to take things into her own hands. she worked harder, living entirely for herself, in the day she would work at the apothecary, and at night, she would be on the street selling her fortune telling abilities, under the elusive name "shinae".

one jump ahead : garam is not against scamming her clients but one day she gets caught and you are one of the witnesses. do you catch her or do you protect her?

sorcer's apprentice : you have a child/sibling who wants to learn the ins and outs of fortune telling after a visit.

friend from the other side : you are obsessed with garam's fortune tellings and stick to them to a close tee. one day, however, everything goes wrong and you are quick to call garam out for it.

OH JIYONG：오지용

age: 31 years old

oh jiyong grew up in a loving household. while his father definitely could've improved in certain areas, they were happy as a relatively large family and jiyong had never felt as if he was unloved. 

that is, until, when he, his father, and his step-mother had all gone out on a trip in the countryside. as they came back home, they were attacked by what had seemed to be rogue bandits, leaving everyone dead but one of their knights and jiyong, who had to fight for his own life.

many things came to light after the death of his parents' deaths, such as his older siblings being ineligible to rule the household and the responsibility being upon jiyong's incapable hands. jiyong had to live with this, for the sake of his father, though at night he could never forget what happened...

there's not much to say in jiyong's story, other than that you may hear from rumours on who he seems to be... kind, loyal, charming, even.

but even those closest to jiyong have no idea who he actually is.

PLOTS / CONNECTIONS：오지용

yours truly : you are jiyong's first love, but the two of you lost contact after what happened with his parents. it was unrequited on your part since you didn't even think he felt that way about you... mostly because the present he gave you to represent his feelings was a dagger,

spring, summer : you are the only person who has ever seen jiyong's "true" side, and you were horrified at the sight. you try to let other people know about him, his true personality, but no one believes you. how could they? jiyong is like a large dog... but you know the truth.

just enough : as one of jiyong's friends, you are pressing him to lighten up some. so, you propose some crazy schemes to get him to do so... which, of course, jiyong hates and wants nothing to do with. but, he'll come around to it, right?
