Ghosting someone was all too easy when you fell asleep for over five years- admittedly, he hadn’t meant to, the connection was a decent enough pastime, but nothing major sparked up from it. On his side, at least. That was why it was very easy to forget to notify his winter fling that he was taking a snooze that would just take as long as it took, and that he would not be bringing them with him. Back in the city and wide awake, it’s a regular day for both when eyes meet early 2000s Christmas movie style and Basil, well, can’t help but stumble over some type of apology as they’re approaching the festive season again.
This can go absolutely anywhere, I'm just in the mood for some fresh festive awkwardness <3
