It's the Year 2409. 

Off the coast of South Korea, from a large scale research facility to a bustling island city, Aeonys first opened its gates to the public in the Year 2300.

For a long time, Aeonys was only home to Eon-humans—or Eons, for short—a special bloodline of human beings once believed to have gone extinct. Born with an elemental core in place of a human heart, they possess the ability to manipulate one of the four major elements.

As the Eons resurfaced, countries all around the world invested into their research, longing to study how they have come to be. But with no clear answers in sight, the research continues, with all Eons currently unable to leave the island due to safety reasons.

But fear not, because life in Aeonys is not as bleak as it used to be. What was once a dreary facility is now a thriving and lively city—granted that its people keep it that way.
