awh I've been eyeing the doll rp too ngl :/ idk who are they but they are , and I agreed with whole saorsa was saying. so many types of roleplays has been established here so , I don't get why people still being a narrow minded lol

Either nobody is original and we deal with roleplays sometimes being similar
Or you actually participate in RP ideas that are truly unique like some fantastic rps I’ve seen open and close because they got no attention for being too niche

I’m saying this in defense of you because you are correct 100%. There’s no such thing as a unique concept anymore; if it’s been done on here, it’s been done on tumblr, it’s been done on jcink(?), it’s been done on discord and the dozens of other roleplay sites that exist.
Theres been plenty of ‘mature’ club style RPs that opened since I shut down Venus Lounge, I don’t go around accusing people of copying because.. hello??? Not original?? Breaking news: people have similar ideas???
maybe timing wasn’t great but ok whatever? leave it between the admins to discuss because as you said, had the og admin come to you themselves, you would have had a civil and polite discussion
People need to take a second to think before throwing around accusations. Sometimes it genuinely is an honest mistake or misunderstanding which happens because we’re /human/. People here seem to forget that.
The accuser had good intentions, I’m sure, but not the appropriate way to go about it. There’s better ways.
Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I stopped making many rps. That and the lack of interest... I have a casino type rp that didn't even make it off the ground, and Idk if there was anything like it before or not... So, whether it's inspired by one or unique, it's hard to get people on board with any kind of semi-au or aurp like back then. It just feels like people don't want to roleplay or be creative much anymore, and it . People will probably hate me even more for this comment, but the truth hurts, ig.
