The rp is set in a fictional town on the northeastern coast during the 1920s, in the height of the Jazz Age. The town is a summer retreat for the wealthy elite, with grand estates lining the glittering coastline, their windows overlooking the sea. It’s a place where the air is filled with jazz music, champagne flows endlessly, and every night is a glittering celebration of excess. But beneath the surface, the characters are haunted by their pasts, longing for something more than the life they’re leading. the rp comes with a twist for those wanting to participate - six roles to select from. the roles simply influence - of course, it's loosely based, you're allowed to form your character however you like to interpret the role.

The Dreamer: A character who is obsessed with a past love or a version of life they believe they can reclaim. They spend the summer trying to recreate the past, even as it slips further away.

The Golden Figure: A character who appears perfect on the outside—charming, wealthy, adored by all—but is deeply unhappy inside. They feel trapped by the image they’ve created and long for something real, something meaningful.

The Outsider: A newcomer to the town who brings with them a mysterious past. They are searching for someone or something, and their presence disrupts the delicate balance of the other characters’ lives.

The Cynic: A character who sees through the illusions of wealth and love but feels powerless to escape the world they’re part of. They’re witty, sharp-tongued, and perhaps a bit jaded, but deep down, they too are searching for connection.

The Secret Keeper: A character who knows more than they let on. They are privy to everyone’s secrets and play a pivotal role in how the story unfolds. They may act as a confidant, but their motivations are unclear—are they helping or manipulating the situation?

the vacationer: a simple character, just there to enjoy themselves.
