It's been a week since Toxic Till the End has opened reservations. While the roleplay is not ready to fully open, we have been notified that some users who have reserved would be interested in a soft opening! You will be able to apply for your character, but will be unable to see the roleplay that is still in drafts. If you've been in a roleplay that has been drafted while you were still in the roleplay, you'll understand what I'm talking about. All character walls and pms will still be accessible, so community interaction through group pms would still be viable if you have people you'd like to connect with. In the past, we had access to the masterlist when roleplays got drafted, but I believe it shows up as a 404 error now, but you can just find people in the dropdown for group pms or you can dm them directly by accessing the faceclaim directory below. Please read through the guidelines (sorry, they came out a lot longer than intended) and apply for your character to join the soft opening! Toxic Till the End is a rated city AU set in Seoul for the toxic, damaged, and broken. There will be no happy endings here. This roleplay is centered around the toxic patterns that we find ourselves in when we're hurt. This is not a roleplay where your characters are encouraged to be happy and fulfilled. If you would like your characters to be happy and fulfilled, please seek another roleplay.

Activity — Since the website has slowed down with the majority of the demographic aged into working adults, we don't expect there to be a plethora of activity. Inactivity will kick in after 30 days and we'll simply put you in hibernation once the inactive sign pops up. During your time in hibernation, your faceclaim will be available for others to play, but don't worry, we allow doppelgangers in this roleplay and the rule of 1 doppelganger for every 50 characters won't apply in these cases.
Activity in the roleplay is highly encouraged in all chats OOC and IC. We're more of a character-driven roleplay in the sense that most plots revolve around who our characters are and what their relationships with others are. Not all relationships have to be romantic to be toxic. Feel free to connect with others with toxic family relationships, friendships, workplace dynamics, etc. You're allowed to connect with others without having to write a thread together immediately and vice versa, sometimes it's easier to find a connection after starting up a thread - whatever works best for you!
Faceclaims — This roleplay is all-orientations with international characters allowed. Faceclaims must be born in 2003 or earlier and be active in the entertainment industry as an idol, actor, model, etc. Influencers must have 100k+ followers and be easily searchable with their full name and birthday as public information. OC names are allowed as well as doppelgangers for every 50 characters in the roleplay.
To reserve, comment below with your faceclaim and their age, and optionally an OC name if you'd like. Reservations will last about a week (or until we notice nobody has applied for your character).
A second character is allowed with an upvote and a third is allowed after posting a blog advertisement, please see the requirements below. You'll be allowed an additional character for every month you're in the roleplay (ex. 10 characters if you've been in the roleplay for 7 months). To acquire a fourth character or more, you'll have to complete a profile that includes: your character's background, personality, open plots; and have three connections with characters that are currently in the roleplay, these connections cannot overlap with the same user or be one of your characters. Then, you'll have to post a blog advertisement, again, please see requirements below:

- a summary of your newest character's background and personality
- three open plots you'd like to be filled
- three faceclaims and three skeletons you'd like to see in the roleplay (ex. I'd like to see Tiffany from SNSD as the hot older woman I always wanted but could never achieve because nothing I did was ever enough for her, yet she keeps me around to boost her ego when she's feeling lonely and, like a brainless loyal puppy, I follow her every command hoping she'll give me a treat or at least a crumb of the affection from her I always wanted.)

These requirements are a lot, but this is to ensure you have plenty of muse for your character to connect with others before you decide to get a new character. In order to change faceclaims, please update your profile in entirety before your request is fulfilled. This includes updating all of your connections. You'll have a week to update your profile before your new faceclaim is put back on the market.
Roleplaying — Write at your own pace. Let your writing partners know your expectations and what they should expect out of you. We all have lives outside of this site and it should not be a priority. You have the liberty to connect with as many people as you'd like, but there's no need to have a thread for every connection you have. Please write threads for plots that you have muse for. You are not required to roleplay with everybody, especially those you do not want to write with. As a roleplay focused on toxicity, boundaries are especially important and we do not want you to step outside of your comfort zone.
This roleplay thrives on IC drama, but please make sure all parties involved consent to said drama. We love having IC drama in the rooms, but we do not want to see any IC drama in any public chatrooms. Please keep IC dramas in any other rooms except for the chatrooms, but if you're left without any choice, at the very least warn us and explain that any tension in the IC rooms has been plotted. We do not want to be roped into IC drama in the public chatrooms against our wills.
Marriage, pregnancy, and children are allowed. However, please refrain from using faceclaims for any minors. All children must remain NPCs unless they're 20+ and part of the roleplay. Please ensure to put trigger warnings where possible this includes subjects of physical, ual, and psychological abuse, suicide, eating disorders, , and gore. Character death must be approved by the admins before even being considered.

You're free to share your concerns once things are an initial issue, but we will not do anything until it's proven to be a pattern that needs intervention because we are not going to be trigger happy with the banhammer.
