middle child and second son to Baron Kang Daejung and his wife, Lady Hyewon.

their baron title had not been granted generations and generations ago like some. In fact, quite the opposite. they were a more recently titled family as his grandfather had proven himself a valuable asset to the previous king and earned his place working directly with the court as an advisor on local governance and military strategy, hence slowly climbing the social ladder thanks to his great diplomacy and land management skills.

this job and title were eventually passed down to jinho's father, and expected to later be passed down onto his older brother, who was now heir to the barony and hence raised under their father's strict hand.

jinho, on the other hand, was raised by their caring mother, along with his younger sister. it was his mother's stories of the court and the brave and acknowledged knights that inspired his dream of becoming a royal knight and working directly under their rulers.

during his teens, after the usurpation of the throne, their family was attacked by a group of rogue rebels who sided with the duke. his mother tragically passed away during the attack, and the loss served to fuel jinho's motivation to achieve his dream, boosting his overprotectiveness over his family.

at 18 he joined the military academy, the skills he'd been honing since young allowing him to quickly climb up the ranks. now he just needed a good opportunity to prove himself to the crown and show he was worthy of being declared a knight.

i do mostly 3rd pov for my starters, but from then on i tend to mirror my partner on style and length so I'm fine with whatever you're comfortable with.

pretty open to most genres, though i tend to prefer angst, drama and anything with content or potential for character development in the long run.

important. all i ask when plotting with me is that you read at least the basics of my profile, likes, dislikes, hobbies and personality so that you know what you're getting into. respect my character and don't try to push something that doesn't make sense on them. don't claim my connections or plots only to disappear after i post a starter. and lastly, please try and contribute to the plotting process as will i. don't just give me the "you can choose. up to you. i don't mind". all i request is respect and effort as that is what i will give you.

hamilton inspired - "satisfied".

hamilton inspired spin-off of the winter ball scene and the song 'satisfied'. two lovers who could never be due to the society they live in. and when he finds out his sister is also in love, he does not have it in him to deny her happiness. plus, if he becomes her husband, at least they remain in each other's lives, right?

jinho as a male version of angelica, who falls for the male muse (hamilton). the attraction is mutual but they both acknowledge the impossibility of a relationship due to the nature of their love. meanwhile jinho's sister, female muse (elisah), also falls for the male muse, and knowing this and that he could never have him, jinho presents them so that she at least can have him and be happy, but also making it a way that he can keep him in his life one way or another.

*for the male muse, not meant to be end-game romance, nor necessarily current romance as we can simply lean on the angst bit.
