So (lovely way to start something, I know -.-) I was walking home, you know, minding my own business. I was just trying to get home quickly, walk fast. Yeah. When as I start to near the gates of the school, I hear "So Caroline," and I turn around ._. and I see Johnny taking out his earphones and trying to talk to talk to me.
I -- Wow. Hehe. Just wow. Lemme back up here a little.
For one, I've been going to the same highschool these three years, and I about 98 or 99 percent of the time I walk home alone. No, I'm not a total loner, but its just I don't know people who take the same route as I do home, simple right.
Second of all, Johnny is somewhat new to Oregon (this is the state I live in .-.), his sister lives here which is why he's been here or lived here before. But he just came from New York, and he's lived in New York and California before. Johnny is very social and I have spoken to him before and hung out with him largely to my Public Speaking class.
In Public Speaking we are basically two friend groups. One sits on the left side of the class the other sits on the right side of the class. On the right side is where I sit, with my friendly aquiantances Chance, Dania, Kathryne, and then Xavier and Johnny who I talk to the least. But thats our "friend" group for that class. The teacher didn't tell us where to sit but its just kinda how we've spread out in the time we've been in school and thus we've gotten in some way closer to each other but I wouldn't actually consider any of them friends. I've talked to them less and less despite that we've spent time together more in that class, and recently though I've been talking to Chance a little.
Anyway the point is Johnny isn't the type of guy that usually talks to me out of free will (meaning like outside of class work, group work, or just because we're in the same convo in our "friend" group) but he did so. I wasn't sure what he wanted, maybe a question answered or idek. But no, he actually wanted to walk with me and talk to me since we go the same way home. I'm used to walking home all tranquil like, but this was rather flustering. And so Johnny and I talked and talked until I got to my house and then I had to be like all awkward like and say "this is where I live... so". That ended very awkwardly, though the entire conversation was very awkward anyway. You know, Johnny knows that I don't talk a lot in Public Speaking, other than for our speeches. And he even said you don't really have to talk, or something like that.
I've walked home with like four different people in my time in highschool, one of those four has been guy named Billy, and I don't really get as awkward or flusterered with him but Johnny it was just super tense and weird.
The last time, I remember feeling flustered was last school year in my american government class where that one guy picked up the calculator I dropped (some of you guys from HG may remember a blog about this in more detail on AFF). Like seriously, I never remember blushing (other than when you're like embarassed or nervous) for a guy other than that time. And I felt flustered with Johnny, kinda excited, but not quite as blushy as I did with the guy from last year.
So yeah, I just wanted to clear up the thing where people might say I like him .-. Not that. This was just a really weird experiance as it was last year. Where I see a previously, what I percieved as ignorant or arrogant, social guy that doens't usually cross social borders (because there are some social types that do cross borders) cross that that line and be someone different that I had not seen before. Its nice to know people can be real sometimes :3
Yeah this was just basically a idek blog that I needed to get out because I just got home from school and this ;3;
