So I've been hearing a lot about these inbox or PM roleplays.

And this may sound kind of stupid... but what exactly are they?

I mean for those of you that do this frequently what is the norm?

I've been thinking of doing this as it seems at a leaisure pace from what I've heard.

But I'm really clueless.

well in my experience, even though the RP advertises itself as a or is allowed, when girls actually do , they are tagged as by most of the RP's players so at times when i think the girl i'm RPing with is too precious to me to be tagged as such, we just do all the ty scenes in PM.
in that case i am able to help her protect herself from such JUDGMENTAL SON OF A B*S. but if the girl have this to hell may care attitude then it doesn't matter. we just do it wherever. nothing wrong to it. sometimes girls are shy and sometimes they're not. just really depends of the players involve's preferences.

you just roleplay with somebody in PM as whoever you want.
you guys can create a plot or something, but it's sorta free for all.

I do it because it's rare to find someone in a roleplay who will do the pairings I want. In fact, it's reasonably rare that the characters I want to rp are allowed in roleplays.
