“This is a small town, Jongin. You will not find anything much here.”
Scanning the whole place one more time, the old man stared at the young man before him, asking for nth time about his decision to stay. Smiling and shaking his head, also for nth time, the dark-haired boy stood up after finishing with his work to stuff his luggage into the tiny living room.
“I like small town, Uncle. Don’t you remember it?” Towering on his uncle, the 6-ft something young man answered the rhetorical question. “I never like the big city anyway, it creeps me out.” Jongin was not lying, and his uncle knew it. “I wish you tell me who that bastard was.” Absent-mindedly, the old man cracked his knuckles.
“And do what, Uncle? Torture him?” Immediately taking his uncle’s hand, Jongin straighten the fingers and gently tapping on it. “It did not erase the scar.” He shook his head and slowly pushed his uncle to the door, then ushered him to his car. “After all, we never know if this town has some gems that would cost me fortune!” Saluting the chauffeur, he was about to open the door for his uncle when he heard someone giggling on the other side of the road. “Gege! Stop teasing!”
And that’s when he saw him. The most beautiful being he ever saw in his 19-th years of life. Astonished, his eyes followed the still giggling boy, must be younger than him – he noticed – but maybe not much, as the latter walking happily besides another boy who looked older than him, touching his arm occasionally. “I am not teasing you, Sehunna. You were blushing.”
“Maybe you right.” A pat in his shoulder woke him up from his reverie. “Huh?” He could hear the teasing tone in his uncle’s voice. “Maybe you’ll find your gem soon.” His cheeks suddenly warmed, but Jongin did not dare to touch them because it could only make him looked more stupid. “I don’t know what you meant, Uncle.” His uncle laughed, stood up in his toes to ruffle his much taller nephew’s hair fondly. “Go for it. If he could make you turn blank like that, it must be your inner-self who was awaking.” Winking his eye, the old man kept on laughing as he went inside the car. The chauffeur, an old friend of the family, shook head and nodded at Jongin. “He’s cute.” The boy’s eyes widened. “The boy with the brown hair,” he added while politely went to his driver seat.
“Follow your heart, Jonginnie!”
Startled, he scratched his head, as if it would help him to block his thought from everyone in the pack as he heard his mother’s voice echoing loudly in his mind.
“Shut up, Mother!”

Standing in front of the hotel where he saw the two boys heading into last night (He was not stalking, really! He saw them walked by and followed them to make them safe, really. ), Jongin was not sure if he should just get to the manager and asked him for a job (and by the time they checked, stolen their employees list and found a ‘Sehunna’ in it).
“Ouch!” Someone suddenly collided with his back. Turned around quickly, he was able to hold the person before he fell and staring into the most beautiful pair of eyes he ever saw. “Uh-um.. hi th-there… Sehun Imnida.”
Jongin had always known as someone who had answered in anything, yet he was speechless at that time. And only staring dumbly at the pretty boy before him while continue to hold the latter’s body tightly on the waist.
“H-hyung?” Stuttering, the boy called him. Jongin’s confident was coming back fast and he battled his eyelashes and quickly read the other’s nametag. “Ah, silly me. You’re so cute, Sehunnie! My brain is stop working.” He let his hand off the boy’s bony wrist and presented his job application. “C-cute? Who?” The younger looked around in confusion and Jongin had never have such desire to cup someone face and stared at it for hours. But of course he was only able to point his finger back to Sehun and the boy stuttering again while mumbling. “Hyung is so handsome.”
He wanted to dance there, really wanted to. The boy he was ogling for the whole night was actually thinking him handsome. Anyone would also do such silly dance to if it was happened to them, right? “Really? But I think Sehunnie is the handsomest boy I ever met.” He retorted, smiling wide as the younger fidgeted. “Uh, why are you fidgeting? I am not scary, am I?” Offering his hand for a handshake, Jongin cursed himself as Sehun shyly stepped closer and took his hand. “Oh my G-god. It’s okay. Hyung just make me nervous.”
They held hands and Jongin wanted to do the chicken dance again. Then suddenly he had the greatest idea. “Uh, I wonder if you have an apartment and if there is any vacant room in the same floor.” Scratching his head (again) he quickly added, “I am new to the town and get lost easily. But… uh, only if-if you want, of course.” The older knew he was blushing like a pair of red tomatoes but he was following his heart so hopefully it all went well. Sehun cutely tucked his hair behind his ear and replied immediately. “We could r-room together if you want? I don’t think there are an-any other rooms on that floor, but we could s-share.”
All Jongin could do was shaking Sehun’s hand and do a chicken dance. After all, Jongin knew it was true love when Sehun giggled at his stupid act but never let his hand go.
