Love-Hate relationship with Girl's Day's new music video Something right now.
I'm going to be blunt because I'm tired,
The song was not catchy. I hated the concept. The dance was near repulsive for my tastes.
On the other hand, Girl's Day continues to 'mature', and Minah's vocal talents are getting to show more. The song itself displayed their beauitful voices.
I'm fine with y dances, but I like fun or wild y, not sensual and alluring y, and certainly not y. And the dance that they showed was a bit alluring and that main part, you know which part i'm talking about, is just y. I do not like. ene
It took me awhile to grow to like Expectation and Female President but I have a feeling I'm not going to grow to like Something. ewe.
I'm a fan of Girl's Day and have big expectations for them. My favorite songs of theirs is Let's Go and Nothing Lasts Forever. I love that they've grown popular off of Female President and Expectation, but I don't like the direction they're headed with all this sensual y concept.
I recently was having conversation with people about this, not long before Something came out.
I'm just--- I don't like the concept or the song.
I probably wouldn't have made a blog about this but, I just got really pissed that Girl's Day is having such a voluptous dance. *glares at their company*.
I mean tbh, I felt the same way when Sistar came out with Give It To Me. I love Sistar, and I know they have an overall y concept as a group, but usually they maintained decency and yness at the same time. Sometimes they'd have their fun y concepts, their lonely y conepts, their wild y concepts, even alluring. But Give It To Me, just as Something, crossed the line for me.
I know everyone has their tastes, and some people are raving about all the new y concepts. But this kind of y is not for me, it doesn't suit my tastes, and it makes me angry that some my favorite bands are heading in a direction that I rather dislike, I dare say loathe.
I wanted to wrap this up quickly, so . . That's it on his topic for now even though I could go on and on.
