* On a more serious note than anything.
Alright so I will start this off with I'm pretty lenient when it comes to plagiarism. I message you a brief summary as to why plagiarism is bad and then go on to asking with a 'please' to remove the layout or to change it to a point that it's no longer recognizable as my own. Like I said, I'm lenient. However the patience I have can and will be snapped if it keeps on going on. Really now, over the past three months I've already gotten at least six plagiarism private messages along with catching some myself. I don't think that this is very good. I tend to dislike putting up a public display on how the person stole my themes and removed my credits but that will be done if I can't get the simple rule of 'NO PLAGIARIZING, REMOVING CREDITS OR USING LAYOUTS AS BASE' into the minds of people. After getting into the field of coding for a good year now, I can properly say that I've caught more people copying myself than actually receiving notes about it.
The matter is that if I'm friends with you, I still will not tolerate plagiarism of my layouts or of anyone else's. I don't care at this point if I've known you for a year or three months, I will not stand for stealing hard worked layouts made by people who took time to learn how to do basic HTML to a more advanced level. If I've commented on how pretty your layout was once before, I still will not tolerate plagiarism.
The point is even if I do not message you early on, I am for sure keeping a close eye on your things for more evidence. If you want to be recognized for coding themes for people, then you better learn that yourself instead of stealing. If you want your shop/blogs to be noticed more, then you better achieve that through your own determination and skills developed.
I will also be posting this onto my AFF. If you don't know, I am contaegious and yes I will be watching you (you know who you are).
