SO CONFUSED.

Hey guys, it's Chasing (Yoon). This is a personal dilemma, so if you're going to be like, "You're such a whiny drama queen!", leave. Seriously. I'm here to seek advice, not to be chided for being a teenage girl. Which I am.

So... I've had a huge crush on this guy (let's call him Euro) for 3 years. Yeah, that long.

I'm not even sure why. He's a good-looking genius and an athlete, which is absolutely great, but he's also a douche bag like, 85% of the time. He'll tease me light-heartedly and call my name from ACROSS THE SCHOOL just to embarrass me. That's cute and everything, but he'll also go out of his way to bother me...which is annoying.

We have 3 classes together and he pretty much doesn't talk to anyone but me and a few other friends in class. But then, outside of the class, he'll always be surrounded by his "cool" friends and I don't really get to talk to him.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not like a nerdy, loner type of girl. I'm actually decently popular (if I do say so myself). I have my own circles of friends and I usually have plans on Friday and Saturday nights...But I'm also a straight-A overachiever from a Korean family. Which means no parties, no Facebook, no Twitter, and no other types of SNS (Snapchat, etc). My parents are pretty chill, but they're still rather strict. I mean, the closest I've gotten to SNS is Asianfanfics, Roleplay Republic, and Pinterest.

Anyways, a couple of weeks ago, on Valentine's Day, I gave him (along with 14 of my other friends) a Valentine. It was sweet, typical "thanks for being my friend. You're awesome." kind of heartfelt messages. But on his card, I wrote a small 143 on the corner. I thought that it wouldn't be noticed and even if it was, I could make up an excuse about how everyone got the 143 because it was Valentine's Day.

But after getting the card, Euro stopped talking to me. Like, flat-out ignoring me. And strangely, his best friend (let's call him Dollar) started to talk to me more. Of course, Dollar and I have been friends for a couple months after Euro introduced us. Dollar's a cool guy; he's like a blonde, better-looking, nicer, and funnier version of Euro.

We've always been classmates and nice to each other, but after the Valentine's Day incident, Dollar has sort of been taking Euro's place. He'll sit next to me and joke around, but he'll never tease me. And if he does tease me, it'll be something very, very mild to grab my attention. Trust me, I know when a guy is flirting with me, and I'm pretty sure Dollar has been for the past couple weeks.

Meanwhile, Euro is flat out ignoring me. He'll answer direct questions, but he won't have that eager look when I call him from across the hall and he doesn't use that really cute nickname that he came up for me.

I've been upset for a while, but I could tell that I don't like Euro as much as I did. I still get butterflies and I still get nervous, but it's not as bad as before. My friends say that I should move on to Dollar...I won't lie and say that I'm not attracted to Dollar, I am! It's just that...well, I really, really liked Euro. And it's hard to get over someone you like as much as I liked Euro.

Wow. That was long. I typed that in like 5 minutes though. I guess I needed to let that out, huh?

Could he have thought that "143" meant something other than what you intended it to be? O_O

I mean, I'm liking this Dollar kid more than Euro, but... it might be a misunderstanding.

He might've thought his was the 143rd Valentine? //shanked

I know how that feels...
I think Dollar might be the better fit for you
