worrying

If anyone tells me that they're going to talk to me at a certain time, but something comes up and they can't then that's fine. But at least tell me you can't. A quick message takes a few seconds and no work. But if you don't, and then I don't hear from you, that's not okay. It's not that I don't care if you can't talk to me, I get it that stuff comes up. The problem is that I care too much. If I plan something with you and I don't hear from the other person then every situation of what could have happened to them runs through my head and I worry and it gets worse and worse the longer it goes on. Just saying, a smoke message is better than silence.

It's no use making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Be logical and reasonable. If someone cannot make it you can't just have the snowball effect lead you to think that that person is dead somewhere.
People have lives outside the internet and could just be doing homework, working, taking a moment to themselves...
Worrying like this does nothing for you and for them.
