Boredom doing what bored does

There's people who speak of peace
light
love
kindness

But then they go out
and achieve none of those things

I do not understand this
if you speak of such thoughts
and truly wish for them

How can you be content
just doing nothing

Yes it is one thing
to achieve these in our homes
and it is an amazing thing

But how can those
who speak passionately
about such things
do nothing else

It is one amazing thing
to advocate and accomplish
something so many others haven't
privately

But wouldn't it be amazing
if those same people
went out and used what they know
to help others

And wouldn't it be more amazing
if there were less
buts...
and more
ands...
