Our lives are poisonous.
From the drugs we use to numb our pain -
or the lies we tell ourselves to make us all seem sane;
there is nothing but a slim chance of surpassing such
a fatal wound nestled deep inside our chests.
Everything we do, everything we touch, everything we say
or wish for always withers away or inflicts pain on us or
others. Day by day, it's only getting worse. The street corners are always occupied, the alley is the danger zone.
Clubs are always bumping,and dealers are always on the
prowl for their next buyer. We can't say we're happy, but
the pain we inflict on ourselves keep us feeling something.
The drugs give us temporary happiness, and the strangers in
our beds will keep us feeling loved.
We're all ed up; rotten from the inside out. We have no place in society, and we never will. Do you belong in our little slice of hell?
