Okay, so, yaaaaay EXO's comeback~~ had to get that outta the way.
Set: The set wasn't much different than what I expected of SM. Same flashy boxes and not much else. The maze, though, reminded me of TVXQ's Mirotic a little bit. And I'm fairly sure they only had a hall for the maze, the rest was the magic of technology xD 2/5
Outfits: What the hell, SM?! Can't you find these boys semi-decent clothing? Their suits were 100000000000% better than the post-fishing trip clothes they're wearing at first. 3/5 because those suits really saved their asses ^^
Dance: It's a good dance, the formation changes are smooth (as expected of SM), but there's one main problem I have...
Kris' part in comparison to Sehun. For such a simple part in the beginning of the video, I wouldn't have been so critical if it weren't for the fact that Kris looks like he's half assing it and just going through the motions in comparison to Sehun who IS a main dancer and gets it. I just think Tao or Lay or even Luhan should've done that part. Otherwise, the dance really matches the song. It's very stiff at times and very fluid (similar to the highs and lows you feel when on drugs) and once again, Kai steals the show because of the fact he put his all into the dance. You can't take your eyes off of him unless you're seriously trying. However, I feel it wasn't as good as it could be. 4/5
Song: It was a different direction than Wolf or Growl. It reminded me a bit of Mama because of the fact it was more futuristic sounding. The beat was a little simple, but still drove the song. For most of the song, I could easily zone out, but once the rap trio busts out, I'm instantly paying attention. I love rap and I think this was probably the best raps EXO had since Two Moons. And after the first two listens, I actually forgot the chorus, which shouldn't happen. 3.5/5
English: SM FINALLY HAS MORE THAN ONE ENGLISH WORD PER SONG. Maybe someone finally told them it would be easier to have little phrases thrown about. Most of the English is in the chorus, so it'll be easier to grab ahold of if you don't know Korean or Mandarin so I really like that. Not to mention, the English wasn't even all that bad. 5/5 :D
Overall rating: 3.8/5 pretty decent, nothing spectacular happening here....
