who here is ancient enough to remember the struggle on rpr back in the day?
back when the character's page looked like this:
back when anyone could see ^ that and click on any character to make the notification go away?
and the struggle you'd go through when people did, and you'd make angry blog posts like
'oH MY ING GOD I SWEAR I WILL UNFRIEND EVERYONE AND DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT IF I DON'T FIND OUT WHO MADE MY NOTIFICATIONS GO AWAY DX'
and when the timestamps actually said what time and the date it was posted, instead of just 'one week ago' or '4 days ago'
and when there was no 'friends online' list, so there wassn't really any way to see if anyone was online unless you went to an actual rp they were in and see if their character was there in the online now list
man, i miss those days, no matter how annoying they were xD
