About: Sixty years have elapsed since the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War and new developments define the current generation of ninja. The unification and alliance of nations has been disrupted; the trust between shinobi of different villages displaced; the tranquility and harmony envisioned decades before demolished from years of strife, struggle and the pursuit of superiority. The Five Great Shinobi nations are attempting to cooperate and collaborate to undo the destruction done to each country but the relationships among the governments and their people remain tense in the preceding rebellions. The last sixty years have seen the prosecution and re-distribution of jinchuriki, the Fifth Shinobi World War and the rebellion of smaller villages against the tyranny of the greater nations. Paranoia and precaution run rampant and malevolence lurks among the seemingly innocent intentions.
But not all is lost.
A new generation, untroubled by the discord and dissension of the past, are the hope of the nations. The young ninja continue to prosper and prove themselves despite all circumstance, forging their own destiny and promising a brighter future. Although the future remains a distant and undisclosed reality, capable of becoming better or worse, the truth resides only in the hearts of each shinobi and kunoichi. The question then becomes: Will you mark the dawn of a new era of peace, or another era of chaos?
Type/Genre: Third POV/Paragraph, Semi - Novella, AU, Naruto-themed, face-claim, action, comedy (we're flexible)
Admins: fxckery, miracles, chobyeol, semicolon
Notes: New roleplay, so the majority of characters are still open. Please look at the made-up clans and not just the canon clans because miracles worked hard and typed a lot to invent these clans. If you ask me, they're cooler than the canon clans too. There's a lot to read and it's really structured but we did really work hard on this so it'd be really appreciated if you at least favorited (lbr, it really doesn't hurt). The title is hyperlinked!
