Rookie Groups of 2014 (I'm going to die this year for sure. Dx)

Okay, so far all of the rookie groups this year have nearly killed me. I swear that I've had all of them (or at least most of them) on repeat since they came out but I think some of them are better than the others. Keep in mind that these are just my opinions and that we all have our own opinions on things. Don't start commenting things like: "Are you kidding?! ____ and should disband." or "You have horrible taste in what's good and what's bad." because I don't really care. Though you can voice your opinion about who you think is better than who (because I agree that some of the rookie groups from this year weren't really that great), or even feel free to spazz with me over them. xD lol

A few that I can't stop listening to are:

Legend - Left Out

Members' info:
0:03 Ryu Jae Hyuk - Sept 19, 1991
0:24 Lee Changsun - July 5, 1994
0:31 Roi (Real name: Qin Fen) - Aug 31, 1991
0:48 Listen (Real name: Lee Seung Tae) - Oct 9, 1989
2:17 Lito (Real name: Kim Min Jun) - July 3, 1994

A few things about this group (and MV) made me fall in love with them.

  1. the song is just amazing. I hardly ever fall in love with a rookie group just by listening to their songs once, but this group is one of the few that I fell in love with instantly.
  2. The fact that Lito (the rapper) wrote this song (in just 5 freaking minutes) makes me love him even more. (and am I the only one who thinks he kind of looks like someone else? like I can't think of who right now, but he looks like another K-Pop idol.. o.o' Some people are saying he kind of looks like Chen from EXO but I kind of think he looks a little bit like Daniel from DMTN...anyone? no? okay fine, it's just me then. ;;)
  3. I'm so used to seeing these dark/depressing MV's from both rookies and already debuted K-Pop idols that this MV is just refressing. Don't get me wrong, I love the dark MV's and all, but they've gotten old now to the point where when an idol makes a comeback/debut and has a dark concept it's just like meh.
  4. Their vocals are amazing, especially Jaehyuk's (0:03). Even my niece fell in love with his voice when I first showed her this MV the other day.
  5. None of them are underage....meaning I'M NOT A FREAKING PEDO NOONA WITH THIS GROUP!! /does happy dance/ xD
  6. Their fanclub name (Heroes) is good. I mean I think this is one of the very few fanclub names that I actually like from the beginning. Unlike when GOT7 announced that their fanclub name was I GOT7, it took me a while to actually warm up to the name, though now I've gotten used to it.
  7. Now, I can't forget to mention the choreography. I love it! I actually had thoughts about doing a dance cover, BUT I can't dance so that's a big fat NO!

HALO - Fever

Ooon - January 15, 1993 (Leader & Lead dancer)
Dino - December 25, 1991 (Lead Vocal)
Inhaeng - April 21, 1992 (Rapper)
Jaeyong - February 13, 1994 (Vocal)
Heechun - September 2, 1994 (Vocal)
Yoondong - February 20, 1995 (Maknae)

(edited: members in MV)

0:20 ~ 0:28 &' 1:35 ~ 1:38 - slight curly, brown hair - Ooon; Leader
0:33 ~ 0:36 &' 0:48 ~ 0:55 - Black hair/with cat - HeeChun
0:40 ~ 0:45 &' 1:07 light brown hair JaeYong
0:57 ~ 1:00 &' 1:05 - blond/with cap - Dino
1:10 &' 2:06 ~ 2:07 &' - on skateboard - YoonDong; Maknae
2:24 ~ 2:38 - rapping - Inhaeng; rapper(obviously lol)

For this I'm not going to make the reasons why I love the group because well they're pretty much the same reasons as Legend (except for a few things) but one of the main reasons is because I'm biased (yes I said it) towards Heechun. Why? Well, I've been biased towards him since he was in the group TWILIGHT and when I first found out that he was going to be in this group I was a spazzing mess. Also, NO UNDERAGE MEMBERS....AGAIN!!! /throws confetti and parties/ xD lol jk, but seriously I love this group along with Legend. Also, the fact that Inhaeng looks like a male version of Seohyun from SNSD is just...wow. o.o' People say that Dino looks like Jonghyun's (SHINee) long lost twin, but I just don't see it. '>.> Maybe I'm blind or something.

WINNER - Empty

Now, I've been following WINNER since 'WIN: WHO IS NEXT?" (and now I'm going to have to go through another hearbreak with MIX & MATCH. effing YG. >:( ) and even after their debut (even though people were bashing on them saying that they should have done like other rookies and made their debut with a powerful song) I still liked Empty. Maybe it's because lately I've been getting more into the ballad/soft-like songs that I really loved their debut. And also Mino's solo song 'I'm Him' was just....unf. Like Mino, can you not be so freaking perfect? >.< (he's not even my main bias from the group but you would think he is if you saw how much as I spazzed out while watching his solo MV. xD)

Other rookie groups that I liked but won't put the MV here because YT is being a bish and won't let me do ish are:

  1. LU:KUS
  2. GOT7 (of course >.<)
  3. BIGFLO (their debut song was just perfection. The deep voices, the vocals, EVERYTING! /dies/)
  4. Red Velvet (HAPPINESS!!! T_T my bias is the little pink bear in the MV. xD LOL jk I don't have one yet though.)
  5. B.I.G (I sing along to 'Hello' just about everywhere I go. xD)
  6. BTL (even though the MV was horribly done, the song (to me) was actually alright.)
  7. High4 (their vocals are amazing. T__T)
  8. JJCC (I want E.co for my birthday....that's all I'm saying. xD lol seriously though, Eddy's vocal's in their debut song is what made me a fan of them in the first place. ^^)
  9. Zest (I know their MV was a remake of another song, but they could have done a lot better. Them hip s though. xD Also, can I have Chiwoo and Choigo for my birthday as well? o.o')
  10. Alice White (now these girls are amazing. They're all pretty and have great vocals. The song was great as well. ^^)
  11. Last but not least is.... BEATWIN!! (no words for them except that I love them and can't wait to see what else they have to show in the future, along with the other groups listed above as well. ^^)

I'm not really going to mention K-Much because, well I didn't really care for their MV or song, but I'll still be looking out for them in the future and hope that when they make a comeback they'll actually come back with a better song/MV. (I made a blog about their MV a while back after they made their debut so if you haven't seen their MV or seen what I said about it (it was hilarious. xD) you can go look for that if you want.)
