Jung Hoseok works at a typical office complex: the building is high, the offices are stuffed with interns and officials alike, and the work is tiring and (most importantly) stressful. He had been an intern for the past four months, and was promoted a week ago. He never expected the work of a permanent emplyee to be as burdensome as it is – he had thought all the permanent employees had it easy since they didn't have to prove themselves to anyone else anymore. He was dead wrong.
Despite his newly hectic work life, Hoseok trudged on through his work days. This was only possible because of his partner, Min Yoongi. Yoongi was the glimmer in Hoseok's eyes and the spring in his step; he was the reason Hoseok was able to endure the hardships of the adult world.
Every night around 7PM, Hoseok steps into their apartment complex and boards the elevator up to their apartment. The trip up to the 19th floor is always agonizing, having to wait to see his boyfriend is always the hardest endurance. Not the work in his office, and not the pressures of deadlines, but waiting to greet Yoongi and fall into the safety of his home every night.
