I just had a realization... I think that most of my science teachers were female! And as I write this I am realizing that a good chunk of my math teachers were female, too. Holy ! I gotta sit down and think about this and post it. There will be 14 names instead of 12. Why? I repeated 2nd and 5th grade. #noshame But do you know what? I still got my diploma and the way I did it I got to graduate in January instead of June. Okay. I'm going off on a tangent. This is how I wanted to wrap this post: It's no secret that there have always been more men than women in fields of math and science as well as thier (women's) minds are more adapted for them. I was born in '91 and the fact that I had as many female teachers in these fields is amazing. Especially considering the fact that Ohio is filled with teabaggers (it's always been a very republican state). Both kinds; the middle upper/lower higher and lower middle/low class citizens... Remind me again while I left?
