Can I share a little story here?
As many of you know I am an active member on art-website deviantArt.
And on deviantArt I today found this story of a boy named Blake.
Blake is a 6th grade student in an American school, 12 years old, who experiences extreme bullying at school without any of the teachers and other school staff doing much against it.
A bit more than a month ago his family did send a letter to the district to inform them about the bullying and to hope that they will start doing something against it. But so far nothing happened.
And then, round about a week ago, Blake got physically attacked in school by an 8th grade student.
How could something like this happen when the family already had informed people about the bullying? Why did no one start trying to stop it?
Blake now is hospitalized for over a week already, having many bad injuries especially on his head.
For him and his family a gofundme was opened to raise money to be able to pay for the medical bills.
And now we're trying to share this at as many places as possible to find people to donate some money.
And even if you can not donate anything, please share this story of Blake.
Not only to raise more money for the family, though every cent truely would be appreciated, but also because people have to see what happens in our schools. People have to be aware of bullying and start to do something against it.
