Yeah, you're gonna read this rant with a crappy layout, sorrynotsorry.
Basically, I'm just a little tired of applying for rps that have so much potential and great themes. They're my favourite kinds of roleplays, basically I get to bring out my creative side and think of a character that has a really good story. As some might know, I am a complete plot-bug, so I make LOTS of plots for my character, and I take time to make plots for the different kinds of groups so that everyone has a chance of roleplaying with my character. I hate it when a character basically limits the people they roleplay with to the people they want associating themselves with their character.
Anyways, in themed rps, I tend to make over 15 plots, and I write them in detail so that not a lot of time is spent talking in ooc. But recently, I've been getting really tired of trying to make them. A lot of people choose from them, and they disappear soon later. I would reuse my plots, had it not been for the fact that I make plots especially for that character and the rp's theme.
These would be examples of the type of plots I make. I always make them with the same layout, so some might recognise it. [P.S, these are all from different rp's that I left, so they're not going to be exactly the same categories.]
Jongin loves dogs, and some say he's like a puppy himself. He loves to care and tend to them, and form friendships with them, but like his friendships with humans, it didn't last long, for he moved a lot. One particular stray dog he used to feed in one of the countries he visited has now been adopted, but Jongin wasn't aware of that fact until the owner asks him why his dog is so attached to Jongin. The latter only hopes that Monggu has been cared for well.
In one of the countries Jongin visits, he finds love at the age of twelve when he is seated beside you in class. It was a small note passing session, and you kept it all these years. How does Jongin know? Because he finds that very same note stuck in one of the notebooks left in the cafe he frequents at in one certain country. It seems like you haven't forgotten him, like he hasn't forgotten you.
Baekhyun has written thousands of letters and kept it to himself, all meant to be sent to his parents. One letter manages to be sent out to what he thought was the right house, but though his parents once did reside in that house, they had moved, and you picked up the latter in the middle of moving in. You read the letter, feeling every ounce of emotion and feelings within the sheet of promises and determination. The letters kept coming, until after two months, when they stopped suddenly. What happened to 'Byun Baekhyun'?.
His base class; addiction. As mentioned before, he took to teaching this class because he didn't want to people to pass on the same way his mother did. It proved to be a challenge on his very first day; his class all had this glazed look in their eyes; they were lost in the throes of bliss they can only find in ual acts. He finds it hard to distribute homework without getting somewhat harassed. Are you going to help him, or make him yours to play with?
Basically, because of inactivity, I leave my character, but not before deleting the layouts. What I was thinking of doing, and I need your opinions for this. I was thinking of opening up a plot shop.
The plot shop would include applications asking for the theme of the rp, your character, what genres of plots you'd like, and what groups you want to have the plots for. It's something new, and not a lot of people open plot shops, but I'd love to try it, especially since I love making plots and storylines. It's not going to be a frckin big shop with fancy layout, but I'd still like for it to be neat, so I'll need help with layout.
If you've read up to here, thank you for taking the time to do so.
