It's a perfect system, until it's not.
Everyone knows that sometimes love isn't picture perfect and just because a match works on paper doesn't mean that it'll work in real life. Unfortunately, they don't care. When you're matched, you're matched for life, and there will be consequences if you stray from your government appointed other. So whether you carry on with a loveless marriage or engage in a dangerous affair is up to you.
But when the government is your god, you should be careful what you do.
