ing disappointed

So I'm super disappointed right now. Because guess what? Today I was so excited  because I was going to see the USA women's soccer team play against Costa Rica because they happened to be having a game really close to where I live plus I was getting checked out of school early because of it. So we hadn't even completed an entire quarter of the game when the ing lightning appeared causing the game to be temporarily suspended. Then the rain came. And believe me it was pouring. It was absolutely terrible. We had to all evacuate away from the seats because they were metal. So we were waiting for about 40 minutes when my dad says "okay let's go" and me and my sister agreed because it wasn't fun just standing there in the rain. So then we said bye to my cousins which we hardly ever see and hit the road again to go home. (Mind you we weren't just 10 minutes away. More like three hours away or more because of traffic and other crap.) So we finally get on the interstate just o find out...the damn game started back up. It was horrible because we were literally soaked. Even my underwear was dripping...no joke. So then We get home at about 10:45PM tonight and I remember "Ah . I have math homework and an essay to do tomorrow." Then mom says that we state styaing home which is great except....now I have twice the makeup work from getting checked out early and less time to do this essay which is 35% of my grade. I'm just do disappointed and sad that I didn't get to see the game. The USA team only scored 2 points to 0 when the lightning started. /sigh/
