acts all like:
"I'm a boy so I can only roleplay as boys"

I'm sitting here like;
(Scroll down if you want to skip my sarcasm)

"Sorry, I can't join your fantasy roleplay 'cause I am no wizard, just a mere human!"
"Sorry, I can't join this school au, I am no student anymore!"
"Gang au? Does it seem like I am someone criminal, huh?"
"Sorry, I can't have an idol for my face claim, I am not famour, rich or hot. I have not choosen to risk my whole future to live a life as a slave with a contract that is close to remove the last traces of human rights and I have yet to learn to sing."

"Okay, I cannot join a roleplay unless I can roleplay an asian boy with his roots from Korea, brown eyes and raven hair. My character has to live in an apartment and live on a minimume wage, taking care of his two dogs and onle cat. He can't be taller nor shorter than 178 cm, neither can't his weight difference much from 51 kg. When he isn't working, writing needs to be his dedication and he needs to dream to become and author. If that fails, however, he want to open up his own dog shelter, because he has a huge belief that dogs deserves the best life they can get. I can't roleplay that person if he doesn't like girls to the point he want to hug them all and call them beautful. Yes, that is pretty creepy, but I cannot roleplay someone that isn't like me, alright? Okay... I'm creepy. I get it."

Okay, sorry about that.

Can someone explain why people are using that lame excuse though? I get that we all got different preferences and that boys seem to be like aliens for some of you. There is not different level of manliness however. Someone CAN'T be bad at roleplaying as a male. I promise you.

If I like unicorns, does that mean that I will have to write in my passport that yes, I am a male, but only got a 3 out of 10 possible points in manliness?
Everyone CAN roleplay as a boy, but you DON'T HAVE to. It's just such a lame excuse.

Ah, I don't get it. Why?

Peace out

Weeping in honour of this post ;;;
True that. Heck, i'm a girl who prefers roleplaying as a guy because i think male characters are easier to shape than the females idk why. I think it's all about the mindset.
And to give that kind of excuse is just damn lame and quite idiotic. People would always be like "can you roleplay as a guy, i at being one". It's funny and ironic because when i asked them why they would reply "oh cuz i rarely rp as a guy". Like wtf??? You never even put the effort of rping as one and you wanna say you at it?? Man i hate those who quit even before trying -_-

Ok i'm ranting lol

This is a thing now? I never seen people do that but that is frustrating. I think the only thing hard to roleplay is in a city au roleplaying an occupation you have no knowledge of. Good roleplaying would come out from good research but its so time consuming. But I also find it frustrating every time I find a city AU with more than half of roleplayers stick their muses in entry level jobs in cafes as their primary or only income. Or pin them as servers and ignorant that servers are really underpaid (depending where you live I guess) and rely a lot on tips. They also seem to think bartending is a barista in the night. (I do know barista is italian for bartender but ajkdskkds) There also seems to be a lack of middle leveled jobs in businesses. Either you're a top CEO or creative director or you're low as a receptionist. Oh god I hope I'm not going off topic. I'm irrelevant, ignore me ;;

I'm a female whom roleplays as males and it's honestly not THAT 'difficult' to rp as a guy: Same for playing as a girl which I sometimes do as well. There's no specific way to rp as a certain gender or whatever. Just write them as a person which isn't hard at all. Not saying everyone should do that, but some can be silly over it for sure

Don't mind me by the way ^^;
