How does one get depressive thoughts off of their mind?

Lately I've been going through this...thing and I have thoughts like this almost every waking moment.
I'm honestly getting scared. I know what I'm capable of doing, I know my own strength, and that scares me even more.

Help me.

Honestly exercising, sleeping, and learning new things are really helpful, at least for me. It's also always good to find a friends, new or old, and just talk to them about anything. It's never easy so take it slowly. If you ever need someone to talk to just pm me, okay?

Listening to music helps alot.....or writing everything down^^

If it's really late, watching anime or something subtitled helps. Because I have to read the words and watch the show at the same time. Or I talk to my goofy friends about stuff, nothing serious so I don't have to concentrate or think about the bad stuff
