Info/ Rules:
1. The reason Jongin is lumped in with plots involving both Jongin and Kai is because Jongin has no way of actually keeping Kai out of his life. While Kai can wonder around without Jongin's knowledge if he wants, Jongin doesn't have that luxury. The reason why it works this way is very simple; Jongin doesn't want to know what Kai's doing when he's not around. Kai wants to control every aspect of Jongin's life.
2. I'll state in the plot if it's only available to a specific gender or species no specifications means they're open to anyone, only one plot per person though. I won't have plots available that multiple people can take. I tend to lose muse if I do that too often.
3. Romance. That's complicated with this character. Your character has the option of being romantically interested in one, or both, Jongin and Kai. However, it will be much harder to get both of them into a relationship with the same person, than it will be for them to fall in love separately. That being said, if Jongin falls in love with one person, but Kai falls in love with another, everyone involved has to understand and agree. I don't want a bunch of OOC drama or IC drama because you think Jongin's cheating on you because Kai is sleeping with his lover.
4. May add more later if I need to.
Over and Over Again // Open // Human/Hybrid (potentially)
You are Jongin's neighbor/classmate/teacher, you see him nearly every day and every day you see him you say hello. Half of the time Jongin seems to notice you talking to him and he blushes and mumbles out a greeting himself, the other half of the time he seems too lost in his own head to even notice you spoke. He tends to talk to himself a lot and you've chalked that up to a very active imagination especially since Jongin seems to spend most of his time alone. You don't seem him hanging out with friends ever, he never has plans on the weekend, you don't even know if he owns a phone because he never seems to be texting anyone. You find it very strange because when you can get him to talk Jongin is sweet, shy, gentle, and so considerate. He has a precious smile and eyes the color of melted chocolate. Sure he's a little socially awkward, but it just adds to his charm, you know something is special about him and you want to get to know him better. That's easier said than done though, he rarely talks, and it turns out that you don't actually know much about him. His interests, his hobbies, his favorite color or food, all you know is his name. No one seems to know much about Kim Jongin at all. You're determined to change that though, so you set off on a mission to find out just who this mysterious boy really is.
Through the Looking Glass // Open // Human with 2nd sight/ Non-human sensitive to spirits
You seem to spend more of your time with spirits than with real people. In fact, your real people skills are far below average usually. You're at home in the spirit world though, and you know how to handle dead people and all the other strange and frightening things that lurk in the world that most humans can't see. The first time you meet Jongin was actually by accident, he was maybe ten years old, wondering around in an astral form. You've come across people who can use astral projection before but this boy didn't seem scared or concered at all. You spoke for a little while, but he didn't tell you much and when morning came he faded away. The next encounter you had was with Kai a few years later, it was the middle of the day though and at first you mistook him for that strange little boy you met that night. You ended up having to chase Kai through the spirit world until you finally caught up with him waiting for you at a park, you learned from him that he wasn't the boy you met before and you knew he was telling the truth because this boy radiated a darkness that the first one did not. You never saw Kai again after that, but shortly after Jongin started to appear more and more. Some nights you would wake up and he would be sitting on the roof outside your window, or you would find him in the pet shop across the street playing with the animals. He was only ever in his astral form though, and you only ever saw him at night, whenever you would ask him about himself he would grow quiet or just smile and shrug. It wasn't until you ran into Jongin during the day one day and you saw Jongin and Kai together that it finally started to click, and you finally understood.
Now You See Me // Open // Non-Human sensitive to spirits
Kai was someone you knew well and met often, he wasn't like the other spirits that wandered around. He wasn't lost, confused, or even dead like he should have been. He had a purpose and he knew what that purpose was, he was twisted and malicious and more often than not the humans he touched ended up committing suicide. You knew what he was, doppelgangers were rare but they still existed and this wasn't the first one you'd come across. You didn't know his story, or how he came to be, but his anger and hate was more than obvious. However, whenever you confronted him, demanded to know where his other half was, he would refuse to answer you. The two of you got into fights so often you eventually gave up trying and just did you best to stop Kai from hurting other people. Things changed one day when you were walking down the street and you caught a glimpse of Kai, you never saw him during the day and it confused you to see him now. Naturally you were curious so you followed him, he lead you straight to a small and quiet bookstore where a boy was tucked away in the back. You knew right away this boy was the other half of Kai, they looked identical, but before you got a chance to speak to him you were confronted with a very angry Kai. It was obvious he didn't want you there but you needed answers, Kai couldn't just go running around without a leash endangering everyone in his path. If this boy couldn't control his own doppelganger then someone else had to.
Means to an End // Closed // Sanggil
When Kai pushes Jongin too far, he finally breaks. You find him on the verge of suicide, contemplating his own death in quiet solace. You weren't expecting to come across something like this but now that you have you find you can't just walk away. Kai is no where to be seen, stubbornly refusing to admit he was wrong, claiming Jongin was just being too sensitive. Maybe Jongin was being too sensitive, but that was just in his nature. He was too gentle for the darkness and the resentment that was Kai, his strength was waning as he got older and Kai just grew angrier. Their disharmony was causing problems on both ends and it was only further dividing their soul, which was making them both worse. Kai's anger and hate grew the more separated he became with Jongin, and Jongin's ability to handle the depression and pain of having his own soul ripped in half deteriorated. In order for them both to thrive, they need to get along, the more they push and fight each other the more pain they cause each other. They know this, at least to a point, but reasoning is lost when they're too disconnected to remember why they cared about each other in the first place. You, with your natural compassion and open minded willingness to try to understand, want to help them. You want to bring them back to that neutral place where they can both thrive again. But first you have to talk Jongin off the edge, and then you're presented with the daunting task of finding an entity you know nothing about (if you're human it's an entity you can't even see), and wants no part of what you have to say. Can you save them? Or will Kai finally get what he wants when Jongin can't take anymore and they both die?
All of Me // Closed // Luhan
Jongin and Kai have always been two parts of the same whole to you, they've never been separate entities really despite what Kai tries to claim. As long as you've known them you've always known them together not apart. Whever Jongin is, you're sure to find Kai, and if Kai is slinking around then Jongin's never far away. It's the only relationship like it you've ever seen, and even now you don't fully understand it. It took years for you and the two boys to become close enough that they would tell you what happened to them. You didn't think something as simple as dying for a few minutes could cause a separation like this, and it turns out you were right. Jongin and Kai had been researching other people who died in a similar way than them but none of them went through the soul splitting process like Jongin did. They were unique, or at least a rare phenomenon. They were those lucky one in a million and now they were learning how to handle living as two separate beings while their existence is almost fully dependent on each other. You are one of the few people in their lives who are completely on the inside, you've seen Kai's soft side, and Jongin's anger, and you've seen the worst of what Kai can do and the best of Jongin's heart. You know everything about these two and you're the one they trust before anyone else. You've accepted them for all that they are and the will always be grateful to you for that, they don't have to hide in front you. You're their one special and irreplaceable person.
