I've volunteered to be a buddy again this semester and my first exchange student came yesterday! She is so sweet and enthusiastic and positive! I'm so happy even though I am also kind of tired from talking so much XD I met with her both yesterday and today to get her settled and all and we really click together ^^ She loves Say Yes to the Dress too, lol!! XD
Both my English and my Danish have kind of broken down and died, so I apologise in advance if I make weird mistakes; after writing my latest exam in Danish it's almost like the two have kind of... blended in my brain. Like, I make a lot more mistakes, especially when I need to use English words and then use the English word that sound like the Danish translation.. Example is I needed to say folder (which is 'mappe') in Danish, so I said map... Or lake ('sø) became sea... victim ('offer') became offer. It's that kind of stupid mistakes and it really frustrates me .______. Wae must my brain be dumb?! ;;
