Bio: Raised by her mother and father, Amber grew up with Jackie, her older sister. Jackie was the good girl while Amber was considered the problem child, thanks to always playing by her own rules and breaking laws. From a young age, she became an assassin, killing whoever she could to get paid. The first time she ever held a gun was out of self-defense, the abusive father of her best friend at the time, Jiho. It turned out that Jiho had an abusive streak, much like his father, and had quite literally begun to use Amber as a punching bag, causing her to end up in the hospital on multiple occasions before he was taken away from her for him to get better and for her to get well. This also happened a few times but they have always managed to run into each other and reconnect somehow.

As the years went on, Amber became known for her skills as a sharp-shooter, especially with how young she was at the time. Word got around about her first killing, albeit it by accident, but they promised not to tell if she did some work for them, to which she happily obliged. Silent and ruthless, her age didn’t come close to hindering her natural talent for holding a gun. Instead, her age became more of an unexpected advantage when it came to getting jobs done, considering the fact that no one thinks a young girl is going to be the last thing they see before it’s lights out. More accurately, they don’t think a young girl would be the one turning said lights out. She grew to enjoy what she did though, which was primarily getting scum off the streets and playing vigilante. She has always had ways around the law and she still does, namely through her close friends, Inspector Zhang Yixing and former cop Henry Lau.

Most of her money now comes from her entrepreneurial endeavors that she has on just about every block, not one the same. Not to mention, she also has income from the business she conducts thanks to her having become head of the Won family by order of the once boss and the son, Jong Jin, that she had once been in love with but never married. After Jong Jin died in her arms, and with him being the last bloodline heir to the family, Amber was appointed by his father, as said in his will, for her to take over all of their properties and territory.

Her biggest prize, as far as business goes, is the House of Desire, a place strictly for servicing adult pleasure. This club is more like a love hotel while Dark Roses is actually more like an adult club where and other kinks take reign and club employees can be bid on to be taken to personal rooms in the club for a more private and enjoyable time by patrons.

Her manservant is Wu Yi Fan, often referred to as Kris. Their bond formed after he had tried to secretly kill her on more than one occasion under the order of Kwon Jiyong, head boss of the Kwon family. Her issues with Jiyong began after his men had kidnapped and killed her sister for reasons that she has yet to discover. She hasn’t been focused on that task as of late because of other issues. Her almost successfully killing Kris but letting him live has resulted in him becoming her devoted manservant. Now, though, working for Jiyong, with intentions to kill her, is Zheng Da-long, better known as Jung Daeryong, someone that she had once been very close with.

Daeryong and his twin brother, Zheng Xiao-long or Soryong, have a very deep bond and history with Amber and Huang Zi Tao. Tao has been Amber’s partner-in-crime for years, but has had a more intimate relationship with her as well. Although, between the four of them, he’s also known to have a particular intimate attachment to Daeryong as well. Soryong, on the other hand, is actually the father of Amber’s daughter and youngest child, Xue-fang, better known as Jackie or Jack. Daeryong has never really hated Amber but things admittedly turned a bit sour when she and Tao got married. The ties that connect the four of them are very strong and it’s both a burden and a blessing because they can never separate for very long. Amber has known the twins the longest because they used to work as on-call clean-up for the bodies she laid to waste. Tao, on the other hand, had become her adopted little brother, both in work and in private life. Eventually, her watching out for him and guiding him ended up causing them to become actual partners-in-crime to get jobs done as freelance assassins. They wear multiple tattoos that show their bond to one another but they aren’t in places that are very clear or obvious to the eye. Despite their bond, they’re considering divorce, and for a very specific reason.

Amber has another personality. Shizuka. A killer by nature that is twice as ruthless as Amber usually is and far more heartless. She is a personality that came about when Amber was young and coping with the loss of her sister and the fact that her parents never wanted to believe her when she told them that Jackie had been in danger to begin with. With Jiho not being able to be around when she needed him, she was left alone and the personality began to develop. Taking hold of her training, under the Yakuza, from the multiple tactic and martial arts trainings she went through, Shizuka became a terrifying wizard at handling katana, her signature weapon. Not to mention, the particular weapon that had been used to handle business after Amber had been locked up in a mental institution and faked her death.

Having been awakened after all the time Shizuka had spent as her main personality, Amber is now trying to find herself. Soryong has headed back to Japan with their daughter for both his own safety and their child’s. She watches over her other four kids intensely and continues to handle all matters involving the Won territory as well as her own businesses. Not many people, almost no one really, knows that she is actually still alive and working. She doesn’t intend to announce it either and plans to accept whatever she must deal with after Shizkua had had her way with everyone around her.

Amber is known to be suicidal, having multiple attempts under her belt, especially around the anniversary of her sister’s death. She has had one miscarriage that still plays in the back of her mind because her losing the baby had to do with a suicide attempt and her not being aware at all that she was pregnant at the time. Her other personality, Shizuka, has yet to make an appearance recently. She still drinks but not as heavily as she used to.

Although she’s cleaned up her act some, she’s still a dangerous force to be reckoned with. Be careful not to cross her in any way. She’s known to not take too kindly to liars. It’s easy to be friends with her. If you’re on good terms with her, you can expect to be able to call her whenever you need something. She’s not a social butterfly but she can mingle with the best of them thanks to her working freelance as well as an entrepreneur. She can speak a number of languages, especially thanks to her parents, but she tends to stick with English, for her own personal reasons, unless a situation comes up that needs another language.
