It's been hard...but worth it

So I've been busier than usual. I'm looking for a job and will be starting college (finally...i graduated in 2014) this fall so I've been getting things ready for that. Plus my baby godbrother practically lives with me at this point so I've been taking care of a four year old on top of everything.

But I think the most exciting thing is my new famiy (though not really). Let me explain. So some of you may remember the blog posts I've posted before about my friend Moe and his dance crew. Well I'm happy to say that I'm OFFCICIALLY a member of Hip Hop Theory The Company and of course my first performance with them just happened to be the biggest show the do every year. PRELUDE NY 2016. It was hard going to that room every week and every day for practice and not seeing Moe there. The whole performance, I danced with tears in my eyes. One reason was because he wasn't there, another was because I had just gotten over being sick and injured my ankle twice during practice a week before and didn't think I would be able to perform. The final reason was because I was performing for the first time in almost TWO YEARS.

So yeah, it's been hard but it's been so worth it. I know I'm making him proud and that's honestly all that matters to me
