So, I've always been in love what Horror. The idea I'm thinking of would be an interactive type Horror game/RP.
The basic story is this:
20 people are invited to a mansion of a long lost relative. According to the relatives will, the last one remaining in the house gets to keep it, along with the valuables inside, and will receive the 5 Million inheritance. These are all ordinary people, with nothing at all in common. They arrive at the mansion and they are greeted warmly if a bit distantly by the support staff. Everything goes fine throughout the day, the guests are invited to explore the mansion until dinner time.
Dinner ends and everything remains normal and even inviting, the guests are all escorted to their individual rooms where the servants say they must lock them in to ensure their safety from each other.
That night a storm blows in, and the power goes out.
The guest's doors creak open and from that point the interactive part comes in.
The mansion has a back story (currently to be determined), and inside it are 10 Horros (inhuman creatures of some kind ghosts, demons, dolls, ect. ) that call different parts of the mansion home, and have different ties to it's history. They can interact with each other, but it's rare. They are all dangerous, and they all are all out to kill.
The only way to survive the mansion is to be the last one alive. The only way to do that is to learn the truth behind each horror and learn how to defeat them. (For example perhaps the old photo of a beloved memory can exercise the ghost horror) Guests can work together, if they wish, but only one may be left alive at the end.
The idea is that the RP holds 30 people at a time.
More can join (maybe) to watch until the next round, but I'm not sure about that yet.
Admins are the Horrors, they each have two different horrors and they can be as creative and vile as your imagination can think up.
You absolutely can die, and all but 1 guest will die. Once you're dead you can't continue to RP in that round. But you can apply as a different character next round if you wish.
Applications are very simple. A starter will be written, and whoever writes the best responses will get chosen. I want this to be a literate at least paragraph to multi- paragraph RP.
