I am currently editing my book and it's a very slow process. The norm for the capters are between 2000-3000 words, but I reached a chapter that only had 1347 and I was like 'nope, doesn't work, that would look so stupid when printed', so I have literally been fluffing up the chapter (which, honestly, it needed, cause I think I was in a rush when I wrote it?) and just added details here and there and a few extra kids-moments and it just really made me remember how much I love this story and how much I loved writing it. I have a tattoo on my arm with the title of the book and I just... I really don't regret getting it, even if it was a rash decision back then. And editing and getting back into the universe and back into writing the universe (which I have in this chapter because of the fluffing) just makes me love the book and the universe and the tattoo even more.
