Waaaaaaah!
My final exam was moved around a little, but it settled on today, so... yay! I'd written a 16 page paper, comparing two translations of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I was handed out a question relevant to my paper and then had thirty minutes to prepare and thirty minutes examination. The question was kind of mean; what are classics, why are they retranslated, and look more specifically at the two translations and argue more explicitly why one if more modern than the other. That is three very big questions when you only have 30 minutes to prepare....
Anyway, I got a B!
I am kind of grumpy about my teachers reasoning for not giving me an A; her reasoning was that I didn't completely specify what classics were. Which, hey, we've had a class on it and we spent 2 hours discussing amongst 9 people and we STILL didn't reach an answer (neither did she) so like... I feel like she was asking me to answer something that she couldn't even answer, and that bugs the heck out of me.
So yeah, I finished this exam period (1½ months, holy , so long ;;) with two As (one will only be marked as 'passed' though) and one B. And I can finally say that I have a bachelor in English!
I am probably just gonna bum out tonight to be honest XD So don't expect replies tonight, my brain is tired and needs to reload a litte ;;
