please read this friends and family
Ok so I sat down and started thinking about life. About the things I want in life and what I need in my life. For a long time I thought I needed rpr as a sort of get-away. Then I thought I didn't need rpr and left. Then I came back because I missed people and I missed rping. The truth is I found a balance between my real life and the life on rpr, but life on rpr is slowing down for me from time to time before I dive back in. It's like an addiction sometimes, but I'm not depended on it anymore and I'm content with this fact. I am content with the fact that I got hurt, that I got over it and I'm not bitter anymore although I was for a long time. I know that seeing usernames sometimes feels like a punch in the face. But it will get better and for me it did.
There are still things bothering me though. It bothers me that I have cravings when it comes to rpr and I don't have time for it. So I'm looking for people who are willing to be part of an experiment, as I call it. Back in my old days on here, when the layout of this site wasn't pretty, when people weren't salty all the time and when crack wasn't a theme for a rp, au was the . I was told way too many times that au is dead, but it's not. I've seen it, I've witnessed au rps come to life and I was part of it a lot of times lately. We live, we breathe!
I want to try making a rp again, being an admin again, at my own terms and with enough time for my private life, without it feeling like a too big responsibility.
The experiment will be: an au rp set in a cyberpunk/steampunk/dystopian world. Here comes the catch: the rp will have a plot, a monthly/two weeks event of plot change because things are progressing. Like the world around us. There will be classes for people to choose from (a system I have to work out of course) and each class will follow the plot with their own purpose in mind. It's a bit of a hunger games shown in a world where people get sold for food, some have it all, others have nothing. I was thinking about a revolution, about Romeos and Juliets and things evolving between people based on their classes and goals in life. Think about the a/b/o Verses. A little. Just a tiny bit ok?
Maybe I'll find people willing to give something bigger than chat rooms a chance (Yes I know I'm a frequent guest in chat rooms and I'm sorry ;;;; I sound like a pretentious b*tch ;;;;) I known it's a lot to ask, but I think I could be fun, right?
