I've been debating for 3 whole days if i should post this or not because this blog might hurt some people's feelings, then i thought... YOUR FEELINGS.
Ima end this rant on a good note though. So let's get into this.
Some of you people on rpr have NO ORIGINALITY. Someone please explain to me why everyone gets so bored, always leaves quickly, and is always searching for fun and their muses. Don't have an answer? WELL I DO! You eaters love to repeat and reuse the SAME in your plots, your character background/developments AND your roleplay ideas! How is it possible that no one has realized that everyone you ing talk to is literally just like you?! Everyone wants to be the heroine, or the one with the heart of gold even when you're supposed to be a villain, or the one thats hard to get, or the one that's hates to be cute. I've seen this EVERY ing where so don't post in my got-damn comments talk saying "oh, well maybe that's how people really are and that's what they want to do so why are you ing? if you don't like it then leave the site, blah blah blah" KEEP THAT TO YOURSELF, I'M LETTING OFF STEAM. I'm so frustrated, it's not even funny. I really do appreciate those people who write really nice replies and really try with their characters and their personalities. Even if they are doing the basics, the fact that their writing style stands out is enough for me not to get pissed off. Because if you havent noticed, even in people's rules for rping, no one likes that super cute and somehow super cute turned into crack and then crack turned into some random where you just spue out COMPLETE nonsense and that's just fine. Look, I'm not saying like that is not needed or it's useless - obviously it's now the norm on this site. I'm just saying, it's been like 4 years that I've been off and on this site. Every time I come back, everythings dead and repetitive and everyone's complaining about being bored out of their minds. is also a thing that's just burst into popularity. I'm brushing that off to the fact that most of you on this site are curious, pubescent teenagers and are just going through the hormones. But DAMN SOME OF YA NEED TO CHILL ALL THE WAY OUT. Turn that down, turn it off, give it back, never look back. Especially rps which are now turning into little es. AND THEN there are you sick and twisted ers that use the faces of people HELLA UNDERAGE and do some nasty . I'm going to go ahead and repeat what everyone else has been saying - it's sick and twisted and you all need help for thinking it's perfectly fine to have some kid get plowed in the . Even if it's not them, your disgusting little brain is thinking it is and you are orchestrating a very fowl act. That's why most people end up doing pm rps's, some of you ers are trying to hide your nauseating baby plots. I'm very aware of the back lash this post is going to get, if any. I'm at my limits where I've stopped caring about how people wanna start feeling some kind of way because someone is bringing an issue that they CLEARLY have to light. What you don't have doesn't bother you. So if you don't have anything to do with this post then you should be either agreeing or ignoring it right?
Can I get back to whining about these weak plots and life stories everyone does? Let's talk about the most recent I've seen. All the girls are sweet and caring when they want to be. They're never like other girls, they always give an attitude back when given one. Typical girl, i get it. not a problem. My problem is when you start rping with people AND NONE OF THAT IS PRESENT IN THEIR ATTITUDES, PERSONALITY, OR BODY LANGUAGE! Like , I thought you said she acts like a HUMAN BEING not some ty wanna be princess that cries at every little moment or that giggles at everything. And don't get me started on the people who don't get sarcasm, you people are the absolute worst. it was sarcasm but now you wanna start mess because YOU didn't get it. Nah fam, imma move on, i can't do this. I'm not about to go through some hole spiel to explain this to you. Imma let your feelings stay hurt. I give no s. Please block me because I damn sure am not gonna find your to talk to anymore. Tell all your friends too so I don't get random people coming at me sideways talking about "you need to leave my friend alone." and 'You're a bully and you should leave the site." and all that . All of you can shut the hell up and kiss my mutha in . your friend and their feelings. (ok let me stop before i get reported.) I'm just so upset, and sad that it's so hard to just rp with people and have fun. I have NO problem with people having lives and being busy. My problem is with the people who DON'T have to do and are STILL ty story tellers. I mean yeah, sure you don't have a talent for it, hell I surely don't. But I at least understand the meaning of variety and what it is to have a personality that helps develop a story rather than a broad description and now the plot is stagnant. Granted I can work on my too, I'm not the greatest story teller and I have some ty replies but My characters feed off of others. Meaning, all my reactions are based off of what your characters do. I don't know what to do with ty replies other than to write back a ty reply. Honestly, how am i supposed to work with that? I also want to be able to develop a plot where YOU DON'T END UP IN A RELATIONSHIP. Tell my why everyone wants to plot their characters into a relationship? Like, I get if that's really what you want to do, but if I'm the only person you're talking to then off. And the face chasers make this bad for everyone. I just wish people would detach their personal feelings from their characters when people want to rp for real. Develop someone who has real emotions and reactions to real situations. Explain their feelings and motions and thoughts so that we can all clearly understand what it is you want to convey. None of that *Smiles and nods* *Shrugs and shakes my head*. I'm tired of watching myself write like this as well. Use a thesaurus and GOOGLE to help with your vocabulary and word choice. Give your character flaws other than insecurities. Everyone has them so it's no longer a flaw, it's literally just life now. Everyone wants to be perfect and the clear result of that is complete BOREDUM. People who do non au rps. Do you really know enough about the person you are to say the rp isn't au or semi au? I honestly don't really get non-au rp's because you can never truly know a person therefore, there is no real way that any rp is non-au un less you are all the people you claim to be. It's fine to claim the lifestyle they have but you will never know how they really are as a person. And I know there's going to be people that say, I watch them enough to get how they are as a person. And to you people I say, you're fooling yourself.
I love rpr, I really do. I've made so many friends and I've had tons of fun from the very first day. There are people who I've learned that my writing ain't compared to their's. I surely need to work on changing. I've grown my imagination thinking of how to make things fun using a text based platform. This rant came from an rp I'm in where there are hella games and they just stood out to me. I was like wow, someone was able to think outside the box and utilize the features of this site for people to have fun. Then I saw a note they left saying not to steal the games without giving credit. And I just started to think 'Anyone who takes another person's ideas and hones it as their own is a coward and a and so unoriginal.'. People who come up with original ideas and such give me such inspiration and it's thanks to those people that I'm still on rpr and I'm still willing to work on myself. I really thank you guys - OptimusPrime and Bangtuan. You guys are the only ones that pop up in my head when I think of people who really try and who really develop. I could be all kinds of wrong but from what I've seen from you guys, I think you guys are pretty original and very creative people.
Optimo, I've always admired that you were so into using not so famous people in the kpop world or part of a kpop group. All of your rps are always thought of as the coolest ones and so many people know your name. I'm really happy that I'm your friend, I'm always inspired to think of something new and outside the box because of you.
Bangtuan, We aren't friends but it's your games that inspired me. I was pleasantly surprised to see how you utilized the rpr text platform for interactive games. Granted, I swear one of them is rigged and impossible to win lol. But really, I truely appreciate your originality with those games.
I'm sure there are hella original people out there that I may have not encountered enough times yet so this rant is for you mass majority people (And me.). I really hope one day rpr will be able to have people produce really great stories with each other. We could really have fun if everyone embraced being different, flaws and all. And for someone to really have a fully developed character and personality, it takes more than one flaw and more than one major event to happen in their lives to create such a person. Review psychology and how the mind works. Get an idea of different lifestyles and what it's like before you apply it to your character. Do your research and when you finally create that "perfect" character, you'll be delightfully surprised by the amount of ideas you get for your plots with other people. Since I am a person that claims to be working on myself, I'll be posting developed character ideas and plots to show and prove my point of doing your research. I will happily work with anyone who wants to try it out. Just like how layouts grew to what they are today, let's develop our characters to be as complex and appealing.
I will apologize for being such a brute in the beginning, using an excessive amount of foul language. I've just had this pent up for 3 days and really needed to put it out there. If I hurt anyones feelings - I still don't care. Because, honestly, you shouldn't be offended. It's my personal opinion from my personal experience and views. You can think rpr is fine as it is and you can be completely happy. No problem with that, who am I to tell you it's wrong, right?
