Muse A is one of the top marine biologists in the world; having single-handedly discovered four new species of jellyfish, seven new types of coral and a heck of a diver, Muse A is top dog in their field and living life to the fullest.

Muse B is a tropical mermaid living in the warm waters just off the coast of bahamas; living amongst the reefs and discovering new human treasures to add to their cove.

In their entire life span, Muse B has never encountered a human face to face, minding their own business whenever the humans come to swim and scare off all the fish; they never stay for too long, so there's not really a point in interacting with them. Muse B has been happy to live their life of solitude and doesn't have any desire to change that.

Until one day, a boat docks above their cove and doesn't leave. Muse B likes to watch the human do their own thing; putting on a strange suit and swimming through their waters with the ease of a fish. It's clear the human isn't there for him but rather for the fish and the reef. So Muse B takes it upon themselves to help out.

Muse A thinks they must be going crazy; things of theirs keep disappearing from the deck of the ship, shells and corals and other underwater treasures keep appearing on the boat whenever they aren't looking, and to top it all off, there seems to be a rare(maybe never before discovered!) breed of dolphin swimming around; but Muse A can never get a close enough look so they take it upon themselves to catch the creature and study it.

Imagine Muse A's surprise when they find, instead of a dolphin, but a mermaid caught in their net.


POTENTIAL PLOT POINTS

- Muse B isn't the only one of their kind; and mermaids don't take to kindly to humans fraternising with mermaids. B has to keep this relationship a secret to protect Muse A.

- Muse B is the last mermaid left

- Muse B isn't the only one of their kind and is, nonetheless, royalty. *imagine the little mermaid minus Ursula
