god's gift
wanted
kill me, heal me
signal
my love from another star
the eccentric daughter in law/the virtual bride
modern farmer
jang ok jung, live in love
come back mister

for me, I don't really have particular likings or themes that draw me into shows. they just have to draw me in, keep me entertained, and not make me want to skip over the show.
it's hard to say which ones are my favorite. maybe if I had to pick a top four or five from those ten, it would be my love from another star, come back mister, wanted, and jang ok jung. they left more of an impact on me after finishing their shows. the shows listed above I recommend though. just in case though, people feel like god's gift and wanted are similar because of their premises. however, they're both worth watching.

2) 49 Days
1) Reply 1988
5) Bad Guys
4) Age of Youth
3) Goblin

Reply 1988 is my favorite kdrama of all time omfg it made me cry like a little ing from episode one - it's a timeless classic tbh
49 Days also made me cry from episode one, the acting of the lead was great - everybody else was pretty aight i guess - but this drama had one of the most satisfying endings I've come across. I cried so ing much. It remains one of the few dramas that I can say to this day that I recommend just because of the emotional impact it left on me.
Goblin is beautifully shot, the lore of it all is beautiful, and more beautiful is the chemistry between Gong Yoo and Lee Dongwook. LDW's tears make the drama what it is tbh
Age of Youth is an absolute must if you're a young woman. The humor, the wisdom, the cinematography and storyline are all so insightful. The acting is great and it's really obvious that the director and writer were inspired by western film with how round and raunchy and complete the characters are. It doesn't take the usual Korean approach of boy meets girl, it's a coming of age story surrounding five women and it's absolutely breath taking and only 12 episodes long. If it isn't obvious, I absolutely love this drama and I even recommend it to people who don't watch kdramas because it's standalone a great show on its own.
Bad Guys is beautifully written and really I love it because of the action and emotion. It's not a typical korean melodrama, it's ing insane and minding and I love everything about it except maybe park haejin's acting lol

I recommend all of the above boo <3

The only kdrama that I ever really enjoyed enough was Descendants of the Sun because honestly the plot, characters, relationship dynamic, and actors were A++ (especially Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki like wowie what an amazing pair)

The only other kdrama that I ever got closed to finishing was D-Day which is a medical disaster drama that takes place in the midst/aftermath of an earthquake in Seoul. This was really really good as well, so if you're looking for two dramas, then I would hands down recommend those two!
