fun fact about the reeperbahn in hamburg, germany, that is where the beatles as a five piece band including late bassist stuart sutcliffe ( died late 1961 from a brain hemorrhage ) had their first residency at the star club in 1961 through 1963 which they ended up kicking their first drummer, pete best, out and replacing him with a drummer they met of a band called rory storm and the hurricanes, and his name was ringo starr! well it was richard starkey but we'll ignore that
