yeah guys.
i just want to get this off my chest because it's been bothering me for a while - and i wasn't going to say anything until my hypotheses were fully proven. they have now become theories in lieu of several pieces of evidence. here they are:
1) rpr can't handle aus that require any measure of effort or creativity anymore. they want everything spelled out for them if it happens to be remotely out of the ordinary. they demand original rps but do not want to use their ing imaginations to make things work.
2) everyone is living life in the fast lane, it seems. a non-au's lifespan is supposed to be 'one week'. everyone accepts that as the norm now. no one tries to change it. they speak of wishing to establish a 'family' in an rp, but they ing leave or 'lose muse' as soon as there's a one hour space between replies in a chat room.
3) i do not. not. like wasting my time. not many of you may know me extremely well, but i can tell you that i am a very logical and realistic person. if something has proven to be worthless to me, i will discard it. i am sick and tired of seeing myself and my friends trying to cater to your wishes of 'new, original au rps', and failing time and time again. it takes several days to construct a properly thought out and executed roleplay. in the case of overachievers, it may take an entire month. if you want office aus, city aus, and all of that generic , then say so. don't ing tell me that you want anything original, because you don't.
reiteration: if something is worthless, it will be discarded. i will be leaving rpr in september. if i get irritated enough, it may be sooner. i like a lot of you people here, yeah. so i'll give you my kkt and stuff. those of you who've known me for a while know that i left from 2015 - 2016. it was nice, but a friend asked me to come back and so i did. i'm just stating that fact because i know i can do it. i really won't be back. this phase of my life should end sooner or later, and it would seem that it has to be sooner.
that is all. thank you.
