it's a santa's village christmas mystery au
so, the legends were only half-right.
the surprising part, of toymakers in the north pole who make toys year-round for the good children of the world is irrevocably and undeniably true. the fact however, or shall i say myth, that they are tiny little elves with pointy ears is undeniably fiction. the people who work up at the north pole are just as I said, people. they live in santa's village and work for the big fat man at the top of the ladder, as do most humans. the only difference is that the one they work for is jolly and just as hardworking as the toymakers themselves. here in this village, humans specialize in their own different kinds of toys. it's also a full-functioning society with numerous occupations. and although none but the top advisors of santa have actually seen the guy, he still fulfills his duty of making sure all good children receive presents at least one time a year.
now, here's where the mystery part kicks in:
the inhabitants of santa's village are fully aware of the world and its occupants. they don't however, know how they got there and they don't remember living or going anywhere outside of santa's village. why is that? each week the entire village gets two attempts at solving this mystery. and because there's a slim chance i may open this in the distant future, i won't tell you the answer to this mystery :D
i'll even give you a list of the rooms i made
