After the storm we had in 2014-2016, I think this year is really just refreshing.
We have so many new concepts emerging and old groups that are coming back.
I mean for 's sake, SNSD and Super Junior are having a comeback, IN THE SAME YEAR! It's like Christmas, not to mention that NCT RV and EXO already had their comebacks, We only need an f(x) comeback and I will love SM.
I mean we had some bad stuff, sure the whole TOP controversary (which is over with) and Kangin and Sungmin almost being kicked out of SUJU (that won't happen), and some groups disbanding. But like, no one really left a group this year that was really upsetting (if you wanna count Taehyun then you can but Taehyun left and created a band that is pretty cool IMO). I mean NU'EST had a comeback people NUEST!!!! That is boss
Boyfriend is coming back also. Bang Youngguk is officially back with B.A.P and to making some dope tracks.. Just the different concepts this year, VIXX's amazing traditional concept had me shook, NCT's urban concept had me loving them, B.A.P talking about psychological issues in Wake Me Up (my favorite song this year), we had SNSD give off their 10th anniversary and it was amazing, Red Velvet is now one of my favorite girl groups, Bless YG for BlackPink. AND THANK THE HEAVENS GODS WHOEVER DECIDED IN YG TO GIVE WINNER THAT COMEBACK CONCEPT, THEY NAILED IT!!! And iKON slips in there as well as finally finding their sound. I mean I haven't even talked about my number one group yet BTS, I MEAN ARMY AND BTS THEY WON A FREAKING BILLBOARD AWARD, ITS CRAZY, they did a remake of a famous Seo Taiji song called Come Back Home (please check it out its an amazing song, it was written during a time when a lot of teenagers were running away from home). Jin trending worldwide!! LETS GO JIN! V releasing one of the best songs that any member of BTS has ever done, its called 4 O' Clock, I heard its about whenever he fights with Jimin and they make up and its about his grandmother, so yeah. I mean BTS are doing amazing things right now. BIG BANG COMING BACK AND BACK AND BACK! LIKE OMG... Big Bang has been so active this year with tours and what not and they really did an amazing job with sending TOP off with the music that they did. G-Dragon's solo USB/ALBUM Whatever you wanna call it is gold. GOT7 is turning into a household name and JJ Project is back AFTER FIVE YEARS, and their new song is dope like honestly i have it on repeat. Monsta X is getting the recognition they desereve finally. And and and..... *takes a breath* Mamamoo is slaying charts and taking names..... I mean there is just so much to talk about. Wanna One is here and my bias is Minhyun because NUEST loyalty. I mean the whole kpop world is, IN MY OPINION doing much bettter than where it was in 2014 after we had the uh... well... group disbanding/members leaving fiasco start.
Also netizens seemed to have been taking a vacation with all this new music coming out recently, i mean we have Winner SNSD EXO BlackPink i mean they all came back pretty close to each other and I am happy for how kpop has evolved.
IT got me so emotional that I had to make this post.
