about。
most of minghao’s childhood was spent in a temple hidden in the mountains of anshan, china. although much like an orphanage that housed and took care of abandoned children, the temple taught and raised these children as its disciples. meditation, martial arts, and a life-long dedication were what he believed to be his fate, until one day an unexpected guest abroad who generously donated to the monastery took him away to south korea.
the decision made by the old man still puzzled him even until today, but minghao was too grateful to ask or complain. he had access to a whole new world, to education, to paternal love, and to other things that he would never have gotten if he had stayed— not that he had any choices back then.
the old man, whom he referred to as yéyé (爷爷= grandfather), was wealthy, single, and owned a chain of high-end tailor stores across the country. from early on just as he arrived in the big mansion, minghao was introduced to fashion and suits and patterns- and just like that, unknowingly, minghao became an apprentice, and later on, the heir.
personality。
minghao is mostly polite, but not reserved. calm & mannerly, but also witty & playful once you know him a little better.
his looks might be a bit too sophisticated OFTENTIME as he enjoys wearing his own works (suits, blazers, tux) and expressing himself through fashion.
he likes to have his fun now and then, but he was never one to look for anything serious- too focused on continuing the legacy of his late grandfather, rumors say, but really, never experiencing deep romantic connections or relationships, he just doesn’t know where to start. (that’s why he joined the show).
significant other。
out of character。
