zhennan started training under the same company as young k and jae when they had just debuted. however, life as a trainee was tough - especially for one of the very few chinese trainees. luckily, zhennan had always been good at languages - he is fluent in mandarin, english and korean despite only really having started to learn other languages in 2012.
However, zhennan soon learned that the business was way darker than what the public eye got to see. in the old company, he was punished physically twice, resulting in him leaving the entertainment and signing under str entertainment.
ever since zhennan made these experiences, he became kind of numb towards instructors - or staff in general. he's not comfortable with letting others come close to him and prefers working independently. He also works as a songwriter, producer, vocal- and rap coach. most of the time, he comes off as moody and tired of everything.
