"They burned my past, stole my voice, and left me for dead. But I am still here, forging a future they can never take."

The Silent Architect of Wondersr generations and even meet his late wife and had two children. A pristine reputation for being the best mechanic and specializing in

In the heart of Grand Central Isles, where the hum of steam engines meets the crackle of arcane energy, a man known as Kang Daesung shapes a world of his own. A shapeshifter, inventor, and survivor, Daesung is a man of resilience—one who has seen the worst of humanity and yet chooses to meet the world with a quiet smile. The owner of Mechanical Me, a workshop of innovation and chaos, he is both a mechanical genius and a misfit, an eccentric who builds wonders yet struggles to mend the fractures of his own soul.

Once, Daesung was more than a tinkerer. He was a husband, a father, a revered craftsman of his people—the Masko, a thriving shapeshifter tribe within the Mystique Rainforest. His hands, now stained with oil and metal, once carved intricate wooden masterpieces and engineered marvels meant to uplift his community. His wife was his anchor, his children the sun and stars of his world. But war is an indiscriminate beast, and when the Nicquo tribe launched a devastating attack, Daesung’s world was reduced to ash.

He fought. He bled. He begged. But mercy was not afforded to him. He was forced to watch as his family was taken—his wife defiled, his children slaughtered, his home burned to the ground. His throat, once full of laughter and love, was left scarred and silent, crushed by the very hands that enslaved him. His captors did not kill him, for his mind and hands held value. A prisoner of war, he was forced into servitude, his skills exploited for the advancement of those who destroyed everything he loved.

For eight years, Daesung was a caged mind, building weapons and machines under the heel of masters who viewed him as nothing more than a tool. His prayers to the gods of the rainforest fell on deaf ears. His faith in the Shapeshifter monarchy, in Queen Tatianna, in justice itself, withered like the charred remains of his village. If no one would save him, then he would save himself.

Escape was impossible—until the Blood Trials. A tournament designed for entertainment, where slaves fought for the slim chance of winning their freedom. It was a spectacle of carnage, a game for the powerful, and a death sentence for the weak. Daesung, a man who had always chosen intellect over violence, entered with nothing but desperation.

He did not win through brute strength alone, but through ingenuity, adaptability, and a sheer refusal to die. He outmaneuvered beasts, outsmarted killers, and endured pain beyond reason. When the final battle was won, he stood bloodied but victorious—the first slave in Heleo’s history to claim the title of Blood Brawler Champion and earn his freedom.

Now a freeman, Daesung reclaimed his name and his will. With what little he had, he founded Mechanical Me, a workshop that became both his livelihood and his sanctuary. Nestled in the South Central district, it is a place of controlled chaos—a maze of half-finished inventions, gears spinning in perpetual motion, and tools strewn across every surface. Here, Daesung crafts wonders, blending steampunk technology with arcane magic, creating devices that defy both logic and physics. His shapeshifting abilities allow him to manipulate materials in ways no ordinary engineer could.

His reputation as an inventor has drawn the attention of many—friends, allies, and those who would exploit his genius. Byun Wooseok, his apprentice and slave, looks up to him with admiration, while Nicole Jung and Lisa Manobal, fellow shapeshifters, stir feelings within him he is terrified to confront. Though he has forged bonds in his new life, there remains a distance—an invisible wall built from grief, distrust, and the ghosts of his past.

Daesung is not unbreakable. He longs for love, yet fears the echoes of his late wife’s laughter, the weight of what he once had and lost. He dreams of speaking again, of telling the world his story in a voice that was stolen from him. His voice box, a mechanical device of his own design, is a constant source of frustration—translating his thoughts with errors both comical and cruel. When words fail, he turns to SSSL (Shapeshifter Sign Language) or scrawls his thoughts in a small notebook tucked into his pocket.

But Daesung is not content to remain within the confines of his workshop. He is a man on a mission—to find a cure for his muteness, to learn the secrets of the world, and to push the limits of his craft. He travels across Heleo, from the misty expanse of the Rainforest to the industrial heart of Grand Central, seeking knowledge, allies, and perhaps, something deeper—a purpose beyond mere survival.

Though he once cursed the gods, he now challenges them—not with prayers, but with his own hands, his mind, and his unwavering will. In a world where power dictates fate, Kang Daesung is not a king, a warrior, or a hero.

He is simply a man who refuses to be broken.
